It's not as simple as you make it out to be. There are several things you haven't understood - and probably don't want to understand either. What a signal it would be to Ukrainian soldiers if they see a Ukrainian shaking hands with someone from Russia, all the while their comrades are being killed by the very Russians. Among other things, these soldiers get motivation and enthusiasm from seeing compatriots fighting in their own way - for example on a tennis court. And then you can ask yourself, while you are sitting in calm, safe and peaceful surroundings, how you would feel if your country was invaded by a nation and bombed to pieces etc.

I must admit i was surprized by this result.! Anna played way below her level and Svitolina capitilized on that. I just dont like Svitolina. Period.! The Ukranians are all a pain in the but with their bad sportmanship. Makes me happy if they loose. Specialy against Russian players that all to be so friendly.
