She has the purest tone. Hairs on the back of the neck tingling every time. Her version of Vivaldi's Nulla In Mundo Pax Sincera is utterly fantastic

I first heard this track in the paralympics opening ceremony. Wife and I loved it so much that I spent 30mins looking for the track and album. Glad to find, and yes I agree that it's a beautiful tune, and very nicely sung... Keep up the good work.... God bless.

That’s a great ambition Isabelle for you have and I do so hope you have continued to strive to achieve it. Elin’s performance here is undeniably fantastic, but it’s Handel’s music that makes it magical. It’s that quality that most likely has captured your enthusiasm.

This music makes me cry but I have no idea why. This lady's voice is beyond beautiful.

This is one of the most beautiful arias ever written. Handel composed it in 1713 for the birthday of Queen Anne. The text was written by Ambrose Philips. I think Elin Manahan Thomas is a fantastic soprano, but I would prefer this aria be done by a counter tenor.

All lyrics. Very drawn out, lots of notes per syllable, in melismatic style. Which is why there are wonderful moments like at a minute and a half (listen from 1:25) where her voice and the trumpet seem to become one voice.

To have been bestowed the immense privilege of having Britain’s State Trumpets play a fanfare on your arrival at St George’s Chapel, Windsor and Elin Manahan Thomas sing (albeit nervously) this glorious Ode by Handel celebrating your wedding, attended by dutiful smiling and happy children. All set within the historic splendour of Windsor Castle in the presence of the County’s most ‘great and good’, as televised and witnessed by the World. And still to come away feeling slighted and aggrieved, defies imagination..........? What girl would not feel deeply honoured by the fairytale splendour of it all?

Fantastic music but a perfect example of Classic FM treating their listeners/viewers like idiots. Agree with UnitedKingdomify and paradoxicus, how can they possibly think that video like this is anything put total rubbish and an insult to the music, performers and viewers.

If only she had sung like this at the Royal Wedding. Unfortunately, the rest of the world heard a very different rendition.

Tony Coleman you're joking, right? "Sang her heart out"? Do you think "doing your best" is good enough for a professional? This isn't a local community concert sung to elderly people or underprivileged children who don't know any better. The royal wedding was broadcast throughout the world, and hundreds of millions of people with critical ears heard it. I've lived in England long enough to know that the English are very polite and gracious and give a very wide margin of forgiveness for errors that simply wouldn't be tolerated elsewhere. It is fine if you choose to bury your head in the proverbial sand, but don't pretend to be offended just because the rest of the world cannot share your same low standards.

I disagree. The piece needs to float without visible means of support. If you can sing legato like this then you can stretch it out as long as you want.

Like nearly all the great masters of music such as Handel, they reach into ones soul. But these videos are so self indulgently vulgar, that they diminish the moment.

Agree with previous comments; the video is ridiculous. Nevertheless musically beautiful, perhaps in future we will see the trumpeter with whom she is duetting. And lose the tacky green dress!
