They kinda do reveal a bit, in episode 5, 23:10… they talk about someone drugging people in the house. Which kinda makes sense why the girls were asleep throughout the morning. Elizabeth also mentions someone going to hospital (episode 4) and in episode 5, the girl with the curly gold wig has those cotton balls on her arm suggesting she may have been connected to an IV or had her blood drawn
