I love this arrangement. At Southern Baptist Seminary we sang several of his pieces and even met up with him in New Orleans to sing for him. Such a tragedy for him to die so young.

I did this arrangement of this song in my sophomore year of high school and I wish I could find a video of it. The tenor section was really pulling through but I wish there was more dedication from the sopranos, would've loved to hear more strength and roundness behind those high notes and a little more volume from the Altos cause those girls sounded good but I just wanted to be able to hear them

I agree. The director herself was trying everything to get them engaged but if the person doesn’t want to engage they won’t engage

Great performance. Wish you had better recording equipment available to you... not your fault, just a bummer. Kudos to the choir, and the director... my girl was 💪 working 💪 and this song is a difficult one

Superior recording !! Very Good nice vowels and pronunciation .. think men should have listen to the sapranos and altos more .

The sopranos need more roundness in their voices. They fell flat at times! And those whistle notes were not it!! The tenors were amazing imo.

Disagree. Sounded pretty spot on despite obviously inferior recording set up. But those who can't do, get onto KZread and pretend they have knowledge enough to criticize....
