I know that this seems to be a modern setting, and I do think what I’m about to say can still apply to a modern setting, but I like to imagine that we (the listener) are a witch, outlawed and persecuted by our society, familiar with the forest in our own way, and that’s why the forest is seemingly a little lenient with us, because it’s d’amiable with us/knows us. And that the reason we don’t seem scared of the forest is because we went in there in the first place because it’s safer to face the danger of the forest than the threats we received in our own society! Loved this video!!
