Check out Gintama. Gintoki isn't as infinite as the doctor but he also acts like a goofy and silly person except when it matters.

what i loved about the 11th doctor is that.. he was like a 5 year old and a 900 year old all at the same time .. one minute he's this hero/god that has lost so much wanting to save people no matter what and the next minute he's this silly little time lord that visits a plant just for the fact it has the best feam parks in the galaxy.

Well I agree totally but that ep you mentioned I really never thought it was good. It was the type where you watch it and you forget it exist the next day. It just wasn't the ones you think about when you here the theme song or even here the word "Doctor". What I'm trying to say was it lacked a lot and that season did too. Okay if you love that ep or season then amazing for you I won't hate just vexing some stuffs.

Matt Smith, My Doctor. I was first introduced to Doctor Who while flipping through channels. I landed on a certain scene, a scene involving a man riding up the side of a building on a motorcycle. Then the man caught my attention, his style, his flair, his energy. I realized Doctor Who might not have been the boring show I thought it was... I heard there was a 50th anniversary coming so I binged ALL of NuWho. Eccleston drove the show forward, holding the story and showing the Doctor's power. Next was Tennant who was a Compassionate Doctor, he cared for the ones he loved and inspired all around him and I was sad when he left but also excited. Finally some context to the eccentric man on a motorcycle. I saw Matt as a badass so I waited for him to do something really cool, then he ate Fish Fingers and Custard and was immediately my favorite. 11 was truly a kind and pure soul, corrupted by loss and sorrow. Smith could tug on my heartstrings or make me crack up at the drop of a hat. I watched as he recreated the universe, as he defied a locked moment in time. Then Time of the Doctor came out, I shut myself out of all Doctor Who related media so I had no idea he was leaving. When the end came I was absolutely shattered, as he destroyed a Dalek ship. Then it cut to the final scene in the TARDIS and Smith was still there I was so hopeful. Then he started talking, explaining everything and I shattered all over again. All throughout I was hoping, PRAYING Matt's time wasn't up. What finally made me realize it was over was the bow tie. He untied it and I almost yelled at him to put it back on. And then it happened, and for a long time Capaldi was simply the old man that stole my doctor. I eventually grew to love Capaldi. But to me, nobody will ever match The Raggedy Man Eccleston was a Warrior Tennant was a Protector Capaldi was a Beloved Madman But Matt Smith, The 11th Doctor, The Raggedy Man... Will always be MY doctor. Thank you Matt for the emotions you gave me. And I promise, I SWEAR to you... I will always remember, when the doctor was you. Raggedy man... Goodnight.

Why do you think people love stories about the chosen one? Or why do some people even idolize superheros. Or even why do people looove WWE superstars? That’s how I feel. Idc what anyone says watching Matt Smith as the doctor just makes me happy and it makes me cry. He’s just so amazing I can’t get over his performance. Proper makes you feel like anyone can be special especially great when I was a kid.

Matt Smith was my doctor. No, he wasn't my first, he was actually my fourth, I first watched Tennant, Eccleston and then Baker, and, admittedly it took until I was emotional mature to really comprehend with the beauty of Matt's Doctor. I hate it when people say Tennant was darker and more depressed. This is simply wrong. For me, a boy struggling with major depressive disorder, Smith portrays it way better for me. Tennant has these random outbursts ('and I'm not listening') and so does Smith, but they are way more relatable. Furthermore, Smith simply had a better range of emotional depth. With Tennant, he could be funny and silly followed by sad and dark, but I always thought they were completely separate personalities. Smith used his clumsiness and his goofiness to cover up the deep sorrow he felt, the emptiness he felt, and I truly felt that both his 'dark' side and his whimsical side were manifestations of the same character. And I know this, because I am the same. I use my apparent bubbly persona to cover up the emptiness and sadness I really feel. Matt's Doctor always made me burst into tears, and felt more human and more alien at the same time. He represented the best in us, the best in me. He made me a better person.

11 is my favourite doctor, although at one point it used to be ten. Don't get me wrong all the doctors were great but 11 made me cry more than the others. Although he was childish and silly and goofy the torment was always there and Matt Smith's acting amazed me.

Same. I still love David Tennant as an actor and I'll watch pretty much anything he's in, but Smith's seasons were just a whole other style and quality that I just enjoyed so much. A lot of factors went into making it great, not just him or the writing or the budget though i give a lot of credit to the other actors for the weight they carried. I just love how Moffat turned Doctor Who into this sort of fairy tail, his focus was really on a more magical wonder.

I can't influence your tastes, but from an objective point of view Smith is much better than Tennant. Let's start with the fact that Tennant is too human (defect for an alien character, it's as if I started acting like a monkey). Then making Ten fall in love with Rose was stupid. As River Song says, the Doctor is not one who falls in love with people. Especially with a human being, cabbage, it's like I'm marrying a chameleon. Ten is a very contradictory character, in the first episode he seems to be very alien, later he reveals himself as the most human of Doctors. Ten has a very limited range of emotions, or he is pissed off or he is kind, without these two states of mind being connected. Smith instead uses his awkwardness to hide his dark side, all his emotions make sense. Do we want to talk about the quality of the seasons? Smith obviously wins in this field too. Apart from the fact that the Eleven seasons are the only ones to have a horizontal plot, which makes them superior, but do we want to talk about the quality of the episodes? Smith is objectively better.

Best doctor ever. Emotional journey of the doctors last life. He deserved the lead spot on the 50th and series 5 is the best series ever! Pls bring him back in the 60th!!!

best thing about this video is that you actually made sure to show both sides of the eleventh. Most people choose to only see his comedy and crazier aspects but you cannot have a proper tribute to someone like him without showing both sides of him. Taken as separate parts they are incomplete, but with both you get the whole picture, so thank you for caring so much as to make the video this way, it really shows your love the show and it's characters.

Matt’s Doctor had the goofiest, kindest, most affectionate and vulnerable personality. In my opinion the most lovable portrayal of the Doctor.

What I love about Eleven is that on the surface he seems like the silliest, most funny Doctors. But under the surface he is so much darker. Matt perfectly encapsulated a very very old man in a young man's body.

Words cannot express the admiration I have for you right now, but I shall attempt. This displayed an exceptional marriage of humour and drama which subsisted throughout the entirety of Eleven's reign upon the show. Now that may sound slightly oxymoronic, but I'll try to enunciate. The Eleventh Doctor showed such a brilliant partnership of the two in his overly juvenile approach to the universe, his optimistic idealism, which resulted in his fantastic humour. But the universe so often destroys these illusions of optimism and this resulted in Eleven becoming one of the most grievously melancholy doctor's there has ever been. If Nine's hearts lay heavy with the Time War and Ten's with Rose, it was the destruction of Eleven's childishly perfect outlook that, not including the tragedy of the Ponds, lay most heavily within his. (This is making me want so much to edit but my editing software isn't working at the moment :( ) Confused coffee-driven spiel over, I said I'd try to describe each video with a quote and for this one I would choose an exceptionally fitting one from the fifth series. "The universe is big, it's vast and complicated, and ridiculous. And sometimes, very rarely, impossible things just happen and we call them miracles. And that's the theory. Nine hundred years, never seen one yet, but this would do me."

I might have grown up and started in the David Tennant era, but Matt Smith will always be my Doctor. He had one of the greatest speeches in the shows history (the rings of akhaten speech), one of the best outfits, a personality i enjoyed watching immensely and when it was all said and done, an amazing send off.

Smith is and always will be my favorite doctor cos of his bubbly personality but could still amazing pull of serious and heartwarming moments and this refelected it perfectly

You are fast becoming my favorite name to show up in my subscriptions. Another amazing tribute to the doctor! 11 was always so impressive in his ability to appear so ostensibly childlike in one breath, and then like the ancient being he actually is in the next. Then throw Amy, Rory, and River into the mix and you get plots that were so complicated and riveting and wonderful... love this doctor and this tribute to him!

My favorite doctor was Tom Baker of course. When the series was revived my "new" favorite was David, clearly. When I saw David was leaving and I anticipated Matt Smith I was disappointed. Then, Matt turned in an absolutely BRILLIANT performance during his entire reign. Now, Peter is doing an incredible and exceptional job. Just fantastic writing and casting all around.

Got to agree, he was amazing. Eleven was my first Doctor and he will always have a special place in my heart. Even though personally I love all the Doctors, he still comes very close to my favourite. This is by far THE BEST video to recap the 11th doctor. I love how it starts all "yay, this is fun, glasses, bowties wooo!" And then suddenly it's like WAIT, NOT FUN ANYMORE, WHAT IS THIS, STO- because that's exactly how it felt to watch seasons 5-7. The first 2 were so full of energy, hope and fun, while the 7th was full of loss, the feeling of emptiness and endings. The eleventh doctor will always be my doctor. And I have loved every hilarious, heartbreaking minute of him.

i can't say much. because, well HE was my doctor. and i'm sobbing like a kid, i have absolutely no words, i can't stop my tears!

Eleven really helped me find myself. The courage. The clever remarks. All the while addressing the sadness and the bad. And constantly throughout my life where I just go "I'm definitely a mad man in a box". I'm passionate when taking on problems and I want to protect others even while laughing. This tribute was beautiful. I started off with Eccleston, who played the role of a broken Doctor stunningly well. Then Tennant, who emendated me with emotions and had me tearing up. Then came Smith, who was my Doctor. He had me smiling and laughing and crying, he played his role of a silly yet broken and serious Doctor amazingly well. I miss him and his bowties, fezzes, and suspenders. He will always be my Doctor, the Doctor who made me feel like I was right there. I felt his pain, his fear, his sadness, and his happiness. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Does any one else notice that the doctor is always like one last victory one more life, and I think i know the reason. He just wants to give up because he is bassically ATLAS not for the world, but for the universe. He goes on until everyone is saved even though he knows he cannot possibly do it by himself, but the secret the doctor needs to know is this. HE WAS NEVER ALONE. That is his beauty and his tragedy. Because the doctor hates goodbyes. SO I WILL SAY IT LIKE I MEAN IT DOCTOR. SYA LATER.

Matt Smith in my opinion was able to truly channel the ecstatic and happy person the doctor is but still had the underlying sadness that is always present

the doctor and Amy pond will always be my favorites. Just as River is my favorite without being a companion, I was crazy to see her with Jack. My favorite era was certainly this.

I never thought that I would grow to love the 11th Doctor as much as I did, the 9th Doctor will always be my first, 10th Doctor will always be my favorite, but the 11th Doctor is the one I learned to love when I didn't want to.

I love this. I love the song (first). But they reflect his almost split personality; one minute a playful, childish, energetic person, next, dark, deep and in a bad situation! But also how heroic he was at times and bold he tried to be. Love it!!

I'm not sure how to express my feelings towards this beauty in words, but I think it's always good to try. This summarises the eleventh Doctor so easily, and you make it look so flawless and easy to make. So easy to accomplish such art. But I don't think it is. I can see through the editing, I can see how much time and effort you put into this, and for that I thank you. Your time is spent to entertain others and your dedication towards this amazing show is inspiring to many, including me. He had the hearts of a child with the eyes that spoke of history. He has lost too much and came back stronger every time. He could raise the universe against him at the speak of his name. With his childish hearts, he had wisdom and regret. But he always went on.

12 will always be my doctor hes IMO the best...i started with Eccelston (who i my favourite) then worked my way back to the Classics which are masterpieces, everyone of them, but i think Capaldi represents best bridges the modern doctors with the classics iterations....i love this show. thank you TheGarostudios

Complete and total chills. He wasn't my first doctor but that goofball is the one I want to model my life after, and I've not right to say it but I think everyone should try to do the same. He's amazing and wonderful and nothing will ever make me believe otherwise.

I think capaldi and smith should have been switched. I mean really think about it, Capaldi should have been the doctor marching towards his grave with his final regeneration, he would have done that so much better and Matt could have portrayed the doctor imbued with a new life and a new chance. A chance to start again. I think that would have been a powerful idea that could have been capitalised on.

The video is not blocked any longer :D I live in Germany and I have watched it a few seconds ago... Matt Smith is rank two in my list (just because of his "Geronimo", "Allons-y" is better). But I also think it is hard to compare the Doctor's because they are all soo different and at the same time not. Thanks for doing so great work with those videos. They are beautiful but every time I watch them I have to cry. I hate and love you for this wonderful videos.

Haven't watched Doctor Who in a while. This just brought me to tears. My Doctor, forever and always.

I wish that the "search for Gallifrey" spanned more than one episode. Its like, oh, there it is, sitting in the middle of Christmas.

Watching this just shows that this 9 year-old type man from Gallifrey has more courage and sorrow than any other person in the whole universe. The strength in his words, the sadness in his eyes, the regret in his voice when he mentions the Time War... all of it just makes one hell of a person out of the Doctor, and a weird but wonderful person it makes.

I literally am running out of ways to describe how flawless your vids are. THIS IS PERFECTION.

If someone asked me what's a good summarization of Matt's Doctor, I give them this. I technically caught a glimpse of Tennant first during Dalek's in Manhattan, but I ended up starting in Pandora opens. There was so much of emotion and grief raging underneath that childish persona which I can never shake off from him. Capaldi is a close second, he might be a grumpy space grandad. But wears his hearts on his sleeves like no one else.

And this is how you make emotional scenes/videos Sad/melancholic music over happy scenes. And when you know what happens to him, it's all the more effective. Although i would think this would have worked a little better with David Tennats Doctor, mostly because all the shit he went through. Not saying Matt Smith's didn't, David's was just slighty stronger. Not to mention he "died" alone, with the last thing he saw was the only person that version of the Doctor loved. But that is just my opinion. Amazing video anyway!
