It was definitely a nice touch that they added him in the game and made it come full circle with Modern Warfare. Although you wonder which MW they’re basing it off of at this point... the reboot maybe? 🤔 Edit: Determined that it IS indeed canon with the MW reboot.

The MW reboot is part of this timeline. In Warzone, during season 4, before Black Ops Cold War was announced, you could Intel drops that Ghost left behind and one of these Intel drops was that Victor Zakhaev was trying to figure out who Adler and Perseus was and their connection to his father, Imran. At the time, people thought Adler and Perseus were codename. Perhaps Yuri and Vladimir Makarov. That was until Cold War was announced and thus people were theorizing how Mw2109 connects to Black Ops. Be interesting what stories are put in once Warzone connects with Cold War December 8.

They mentioned that a young SAS operative was assigned in a mission however Price's name was blacked out even his first name. However, we are not certain if this is the same Captain John Price due to debates of the age difference and the name. In addition, one thing for certain is that Park is an operative for MI5 which plays a bigger role for the SAS and could be related to the mission "All Ghillied Up" to hunt down the remaining KGB associates involved with Perseus

The only reason the nuke was in play was because America put it there. The villain was an extremist operating independent of the Soviet Union. This game very CLEARLY and EXPLICITLY said both governments kinda suck but their people are good. And as you said the last one showed that the middle east is basically just caught in the crossfire of two global super powers.

Lol what I found funny after watching this video is in russian version the russian actors actually had to re-record EVERY russian ingame, Zakhaev included. In russian version they all sound fine, with zero accent. Damn. So they didn't even have to hire anyone, they could just use voices from russian version. It's just laziness. Sad, very sad.

That’s what I’ve been thinking about, there would be a hard time connecting bo2 with modern warfare (2019), and to be honest, the campaign is not bad in my opinion, but having this connect with the original black ops universe and modern warfare universe is just laughable in my opinion, so going that route would make the game much more enjoyable and would make a lot more sense.

I played that mission recently! Wow was zakheav embarrassed XD. I played the guy like a fiddle, and he now had to walk with his tail between his legs XD. That was awesome

I like how after you knock him out he magically disappears. Lol
