Shouldn't the Cavalier of Night's ETB effect not have happened because of Elesh Norn's ability?

Great game. Sorry that Attaxa deck got shur down quick and early. Also, the cavalier would not have been able to use the etb to destroy norm be cause norn says no etbs.

Haywire mite exiles it target, so Camwron shouldn't have brought the sol ring with the sun titan.

Correct, they did a misplay here. Pretty big one too.

Rakods deck looked very smooth to pilot.

Whole game should have ended differently. Cavalier can't trigger because of elesh norn

I think that when the players behind tried to interact with Boseiju and Mana Drain they ended up doing more harm than good to themselves.

Ya, I feel ya. Ethan got bummed out :D I would like to see Matt go off as well with Urtet. I love this content! I want more of it every day, however sometimes, I really wish there was a turn counter, because it's so smooth and fast, I loose track of which turn we're in.

In an aristocrats deck, half the time, Pitiless Plunderer is a card that says "you win the game". Those threatens and sacs were brutal

That Urtet deck costs $6,772.93 dollars and just does nothing without the commander out. I see a lot of people building it as a token spam deck but urtet is so easy to remove, I think it works better by enabling other strategies like recursion combos or even vehicles (urtet makes your myr amazing pilots)

I always wanted to build a white prison style deck. Where you turn off creatures and exile other cards. But damn. Elish norn go brr

Yeah this is why I wouldn’t ever lay down a Primal Vigor unless I’m trying to win the turn it comes down, even if Shelby had the win regardless I don’t want to risk my opponents benefitting off it. Doubling Season a much safer play.

How impactful was they didn't catching that Elesh would stop the Chevalier from removing it ?

When the Dargo, the Shipwrecker was cast Shelby reduced its casting cost because he sacrificed creatures. But they were sacrificed due to other effects not the additional cost of Dargo. Or did I miss the additional sacrifices?

Last little line of text on Dargo's ability says "2 less to cast for each other artifact or creature you've sacrificed this turn." He tracks everything sacrificed that turn, which is cool because of things like every Treasure is a Black Lotus when it casts Dargo

Can't help but feel like Shelby counterpicked a good anti Elesh Norn deck but after seeing every game with Elesh Norn Mommy dominate seems kind of necessary tbh especially if the Norn player is playing a lot of instant speed interaction. Good game.

Ignoring the fact that cavalier shouldn't have killed norn, this proves that norn can be dealt with. The difference between this game and game knights, is that people correctly assed the threat, and forced the norn player to use their interaction and protection spells. Good game.

I feel like Crucible could definitely be one of those Hermit druid type cards, especially having ot in the command zone, Like only having one non-legendary creature in the deck so after the ability resolves your guaranteed to hit that card, like maybe a worldgorger line? A mikaeus line? Im.not sure exactly what yet but I definitely feel like it or even a two card combo you can set up throughout two turns and pack protection and interaction for days

13:24 This is such a counter-pick for this game. It's like putting both pyroblast AND red ele blast into your deck because you know you're going up against 3 mono-blue players. Yuck...

Proliferating without spending mana after you cast is still worth it.

@@Magidex I see your logic. I agree that the proliferation is the best mechanic on the staff. It’s still a steep cost for all of the effects. I think paying 4 life, multiple times in a game, just to draw you a card will lose you the game. Almost every game. This should not be played in just any deck.

Unfortunately, the dunking of everyone started with cavalier of night triggering when elesh norn was out. So that shouldn't have Which then allowed plaguecrafter to go off to destroy the board.

I think Elesh Norn is new Tergid. Instant arch-enemy or just don't play with them.
