This comment is 12 years old but, as someone who learned the song on drums, the beat is not simple at all to play. It requires independent movement from both arms and legs while keeping the beat steady with the open hi hat.

That guy on the drums should star a band

Also to answer your question, its because he's not part of the band, he isn't part of Them Crooked Vultures, the band that people came to see. This happens with bands like Black Keys too. Btw, the cover of Elephants on your page, nice stuff!!

***** Hm I can understand what you say, but I still disagree with the fact they did that. If you're on the stage for the night, you're part of the god damn band for the night. No big egos, just fun and good music is my opinion! And thank you for the amazing compliment on my video!! I appreciate it and it motivates me to upload the new videos I've been working on soon. I was also impressed by the drummer, for the fact that he was able to jam Dave Grohl's drums while singing. It was an honor to be the singer and guitarist in that band as long as it lasted!! (except for that night ofc, as he wanted to sing on his own exam haha)

Rabin Miguel as musicians yeah, that's how we see it, but that's how businesses work man. The average music fan would be turned off wondering who's the extra bald guy. 'I paid to see Grohl not some bald dude' we appreciate Johannes cause we've seen his talent and of course we understand the suffering of a musician so to say hahaha. I know TCV seems like that band, and I love it for that, don't care attitude, just 3 friends jamming hahaha. You're welcome!! Please do upload more! Looking forward to more TCV stuff hehe. Oh ikr, I'm a drummer by heart and even i lose focus whenever I try to hum the melody of a song. Singing and playing is a very very under-appreciated skill.

Dave Grohl reminds me a lot of Bonzo playing drums with the beard, the head down, the hair over the face and the strenght that he used to play with

this seems to have a much better mix for the bass than the studio version. I can hear a lot of subtle stuff coming through that i never noticed before. If they make another album hopefully it'll be louder in the mix
