How are your elephant ear plants doing?

I love seeing your elegant ears! You insprired me to grow a bunch this year and I’m so happy I did 💕

Dont feel bad mine just starting to sprout lol I a new gardener so next year i will start early

I leave my elephant ear in ground year round but I have not put in the watering time like last year not to big this year 😢. Love your garden 🪴

Water makes all the difference doesn't it! We still have plenty of time to kick watering up a notch and get big EE's by fall

YOU'RE USING TOO MUCH 511 😱 did you hear me yelling 😂 I just wanna say I love your garden space I'm in Ohio too , I wanted to get some elephant ears but didn't think I have enough time to tend to them or space for them

Ahhhhh some of it glooped out 🤣🤣. They’ll be fine for sure. Elephant ears aren’t too much more needy than any other plant but it does seem that way

Mine are doing alright, I wouldn't say great. The black one is growing but seems to die new leaves once it gets bigger 🤔 do you keep yours in full sun? I feel like Mine can't handle that zone 6 Indiana.

Oh no! Yea mine get about 4 hours of sun then shade. So one side of the garden gets full sun in the morning then the other side in the afternoon evening. If yours are in tons of sun def water more often

@TheThriftedPlanter thank you! I would say about the same for mine with the Sun conditions maybe more shade for the black one.
