Just saw her at the NOLA Jazz Fest with Christian Scott. Fabulous. I'm from the Dave Brubeck/Dizzy era. So excited to see these young beautiful artists.

Common and NPR Tiny Desk brought me here. She's great.

This young woman gotta be the best kept secret in Jazz ever. I never heard of her before Diaspora, and when I heard that it was already six years old…wassup wit dat? All that talent and she’s coming out NOW?

I saw her some days ago in Stuttgart Germany. Sie played in the Band Christian Scott. She played great, fantastic. I am a flute player,too. I wish her a great future.

More like laws that humphrey . This lady can really play .. and she is bopper too. The lines are expressive and technical at the same time. Humphrey could not come close to doing this.

Not bad!!!! serious promise in this young lady. I hope she keeps practicing; playing those long tones, practicing all types of scales, wholetone, lydian, diminished, intervals, 4ths, 6ths ... etc ec ... very refreshing to hear a young flutist that is at least trying to say something with her instrument.

It‘s the Count Basie Ending in Db. So the Chords are: Eb-7 , Db diminished, Db6 ( Db is always the Melodie Note in the chord )
