They are the cutest couple ever

Can I just say, that Syd was a godsend when I first started questioning gender. Seeing someone more femme-presenting but also non-binary made me feel so much more valid in my identity. They are truly wonderful, and I love everything about them.

The most recent episode was the hardest I've laughed in a LONG time.

I once imagined Elena and Syd in inflatable costumes to make fun of female body standards. Elena being a baywatch girl with an over blown chest and Syd as Kim Kardashian with a bigger butt. Tell me that wouldn't be hilarious.

I don't think Elena would do that. She's a feminist, and no matter how ridiculous she thinks female body standards are, she wouldn't make fun of another female's body even for the sake of a costume. That would just make her a bad feminist, and her activism is a key trait of her character so.

My Jamaican grandma is like that. Keep in mind she supported Elena when she came out and stood beside her when dealing with her dad. A lot of grandma’s don’t in that culture.
