Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental,” an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, is where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in. I love how the plot isn’t about them trying to be a couple, but about not being separated from the rest of the elements. We get more cute wade and ember and it’s adorable

Of course they wouldn’t be a couple. Disney is so averse to couples In their animated adaptions these days. What’s wrong with liking or loving? Also their remakes to an extent do this as well.

Probably because Disney is in deep water with failing movies but I don't think that should stop people from having hope in some projects. A lot of people doubted Illumination but the Mario movie ended up being pretty good. I think this one may end up pretty fun too.

Because it’s the sixth straight Disney/Pixar animated film to have the main plot theme revolve around parental expectations/being your own person, and family drama is the main antagonist to the film.
The animation in this movie, and this scene specifically, are so lively and accurate to how the characters would move in real life if they did exist. Truly remarkable

The animation looks so impressive, it makes sense because Pixar said this was their hardest film yet. Even the music from Thomas Newman sounds so good. I hope the movie ends up being successful, unlike Lightyear. It probably will, because Disney said they want to have it in theaters much longer.

That’s actually a common phenomenon when scientists burn different metals and the chemical composition causes the colors of the flame to change.

Actually I think I understand a little. Ember is convincing herself that she wants to take over her dads shop. Because it means the world to him. But she really wants to do what she wants to do, but won’t let herself do it at the thought of disappointing her family and wasting her time. I’ve felt like that all the time except in my case it was with my teachers, bosses, and counselors. Guess I’m projecting a bit.
Seeing Wade sliding in the water is cool but seeing Ember change colors is amazing

Sequels have to build off the original. Not revert their character growth and retcon information like Frozen 2 did. (The information that was retconned: remember the book King found the troll map in? “Stone with powers of moon sky” struck Elsa’s ancestor, and he was taken to the trolls with their “healing hands.” That’s where Elsa’s powers came from originally, to those who could read Old Norse.) I enjoyed the Live Action Remakes that improve the villain. Shere Khan, Maleficent, and Lady Tremaine are my top 3.
i like how they put a bit of real world science into this...how water refracts light and how minerals alter a flames color

I've seen fire all those colors except purple. Red orange yellow of course, rarely green, blue from stoves. But purple? Where?

I thought Pixar was doing it, not Disney. Those are separate animation studios, Disney just owns the rights to Pixar.

The relationship between Ember and Wade is very cute and wholesome.
I’m legitimately excited for this movie! It feels so free, and just about two different beings learning about each other in a meaningful way, appreciating their differences.
So excited for this!! I love how they're trying to impress each others, it's so simple in the best way possible!
I really don't understand why critics don't like this movie, such a beautiful movie I'm sure I'll see twice in the cinema!

Pixar deserves the diamond play button by now this is amazing
What I'm most excited about for this movie, other than the plot, is the animation and detail to the world building. The scenery and places in this city look so phenomenal and unique it reminds me of something that younger me dreamt of! ❤
Despite the hate and most of the things they say on internet, we can all agree this will be a beautiful experience ❤

Wow! This is incredible they both make beautiful colors in their own special way fire reflecting off the crystal like minerals and water creating a rainbow with sunlight. As a wanna be artist I’m so amazed 😄
The way they incorporate the visuals into the story are very fun.
So glad Thomas Newman worked on the score for this movie! Loved his work on Finding Nemo/Dory and Wall-E!

Of the few movies that Pixar has released, this is one that really catches my attention 🍷🗿 The animation is just beautiful
this movie is literally majestic, this clip has probably single-handedly motivated me to watch it when it comes out (either in cinema or on DVD)
Thomas Newman's score is just as beautiful as his previous Pixar scores like Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, and Wall-E. I have a strong feeling that this will be one of my favorites
Fun fact: Ember changing color is actually a scientific display of fire when it interacts with other elements of the periodic table.

This scene is truly remarkable. Even if Ember and Wade are opposite elements, they have a way of using both their own and the other two elements to make something incredible out of the combinations

people need to learn that not every movie has to please the hardcore fans and be a masterclass of art with 1000 layers of deep meaning , it just needs to be enjoyable for the general audience . take dungeons and dragons for example just a well made fun and funny movie that got a lot of praise but unfortunately failed at the box office due to bad marketing .

I loved this part. I gasped!! Especially Ember changing colors due to the minerals. Thats SO CLEVER because it's sort of scientifically accurate as well. It made me remember the flame test practical we did in 9th grade
I absolutely love how they took science into account here pretty accurately. Under different chemicals, Fire has the ability to change color. For example, with the help of methanol, Fire can turn blue. Such a cool detail!
This film looks incredible!! I cannot wait to see this when it comes out! I’m also excited for Elio as well! Hopefully a teaser trailer might drop in late May or in mid-June! (We got the first teaser trailer for onward back in late May 2019)
This might be the best looking Animated movie I’ve EVER seen

This looks absolutely beautiful! Pixar movies are always incredible to view, even if the plots haven't always gone over well (Good Dinosaur). I've really been enjoying the trend of movies that don't have villains but rather just explore relationships and personal challenges that people can relate to like Turning Red and Luca. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy a good villain. Scar is my favourite as well as Jafar. But, it's so nice to have stories like this as well. ❤ Looking forward to when it comes out on streaming!
I just saw the movie today in theaters and I thought it was good. It has a decent plot with a really cool world setting and goes over issues like immigration, starting anew, and accepting others that are different. I also actually cared a lot about Wade and Embers relationship in this movie and thought they were super cute. Would highly recommend 👍

You know, I was originally in the camp that this movie looked kinda boring and generic. But the animation is genuinely so pretty, and I see lots of creative ideas the more clips we get. I don't think it'll be a masterpiece but I think it'll be enjoyable and have lots of fun moments :) And who knows, maybe it'll have even more than it lets on.

Gotta emit I love how the characters are animated. Like Ember doesn’t move like a person made of fire, she moves like fire.
I haven't exactly been the most captivated by this movie so far, though even I must admit that just looked flat-out gorgeous
I love the tone of animation in Elemental a lot. Visuals and lighting seem to be quite special in here, too. I am really looking forward to it!
