You need to release a Dolby Atmos 24.1.10 version for home use on UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray... along with all your other Dolby Labs Atmos trailers with speaker call outs, calibration test tones, etc.... and just label it Dolby Atmos rather than Dolby Cinema.

If they just sold a Dolby Atmos 4k bluray with all their demo's on it I would happily pay a premium for it, Sometimes the demos end up being better than the actual movie. lol

+Jamaican Bloke We have a Dolby Cinema in Eindhoven and I can tell you its awesome! forget Imax this is the next level! I love it so much. Its a 45min drive but I don't care. I'm now only going there to watch movies. They have a 63:3 Audio setup there and dual 7K laser projection. I have never seen and heard anything like it.

If you say that it makes me think have not bin to the Dolby Cinema Theater. Dolby Vision has a clearer picture and HDR support (the first time i saw that in action i was in love! the blacks are darker then plasma screens can produce and the contrast and color reproduction of stellar) IMAX in Eindhoven does not have that. The Double 4K Laser Projection is top notch for 3D movies. And dont get me started about the sound quality and positioning ATMOS kills IMAX 12 Tack audio with its 63.3 channel Implementation in the Dolby Cinema Theater. The sound has more detail and you also have less distortion at higher volumes. + If movies support it you have a nice 3D sound because of the overhead speakers. I have bin to IMAX in Eindhoven multiple times. Amsterdam aswell (and one time Omniversum). Dolby Cinema even without the Dolby Vision upgrade kills IMAX in every way. If you compare IMAX to a JT XD Cinema with ATMOS on the audio side the JT XD Win's but for the screen IMAX is better then the XD cinema's like JT Kerkrade. It has more clarity. Especially with 3D. But Dolby Vision is way better. It might be cheaper to go to a IMAX movie but i rather pay 50-100% more (the price difference is less) to have the quality of the Dolby Cinema Theater. But thats my opinion. A lot of people at the Head-Fi forums seem to agree that IMAX is not the best anymore. They where the best for a long time. Its time for them to innovate and make things better who knows what will happen in a few years :)

Why do the actual locations look nothing like the concept on your website? And is Dolby using the same type of Atmos system with these new theaters? The speaker array looks different.
