Kazakhstan is faced with floods of unprecedented scale. Six regions of the country, tens of thousands of people, thousands of residential buildings and administrative buildings were at the mercy of the elements.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited several affected regions, personally assessed the scale of the incident, supported the people of Kazakhstan and gave a number of specific instructions to the Government and regional leaders.
