Great video, thank you so much! The cable management brackets are MUCH easier to put in if you put the cable into them first and THEN snap it in.

Can I use a 15w laser on the eleksmaker a3 pro?

Hey...I don't know if you are still here....I have a problem with the laser... The laser gives the preview of the image correctly but it doesn't engrave when it is started. Can you help me as to how to get it working?

I have a svg file fit to the size of the wood I want to engrave. When I load it into the engraver software it expands it beyond the size of the engraving surface. Any pointers on how to fix this?

Hi, I also struggle with importing .svg files in the program. I have tried to export the svg file in different ways and sizes but there is no consistency in how the Elekslaser software interpents it. My solution has been to export img as .bmp (bitmap) and then you can input the size when you import it in laser software, but this isnt a permanent solution and I would realy like to figure out how to get the .svg to work. Let me know if you find out 👍😀

I just used some zipties to keep them up for now, but I want to mount some cable chains in the future

Cable management raping was painful :(. But the video still got a thumb up :). By the way, i would drive the gantry to each end of the frame. Than in the end position fasten the bolts of the frame for good. So the gantry serves as a gauge.

Jepp, but only thin wood. No thicker than 3mm

There is a rebuild kit with a z-axis and a small spindle, I have not tried it yet soi cant say anything about it.. But it will not be as strong as a regular CNC machine and mostly for small engraving projects in wood 👍😀
