You could learn Greek but if you came to Cyprus you wouldn't understand what people were saying! We don't speak 'Modern Greek' in Cyprus, we have our own dialect based on Ancient Greek. So if you want to marry Eleftheria, assuming she even gives a shit about you, you'd have to come to Cyprus and ask for her hand from her parents. Keep in mind that Cypriots don't usually like Turks or Turkey because they stole half of our island. Personally, I'm ok with them but I know lots of people who would never have anything to do with Turkey.
