Das Elefantentreffen ist eines der berühmtesten Wintermotorradtreffen. Angefangen hat es 1956 mit 20 hartgesottenen Zündapp-KS-601 Gespannfahrern und heute sind es über 4000 Motorradfreunde aus ganz Europa die sich in Thurmansbang im bayrischen Wald treffen. Die Atmosphäre des Elefantentreffens hat etwas für sich: Es ist kalt, der Boden schlammig, die Luft voll vom Rauch zahlreicher Lagerfeuer und ständig wird irgendwo von betrunkenen Feuerwerk gezündet.
Ich selbst war leider nicht auf dem Elefantentreffen, aber ich erhielt diese Videos aus erster Hand von einem Bekannten und habe das beste daraus gemacht!

The Elephant Rally has a special atmosphere: It's cold, the ground muddy, the air full of the smoke of numerous campfires and all the time fireworks are ignited by drunken visitors.
