I love my EHX Soul Food, I use it mostly as a boost, but the OD is also nice (not a hectic saturated drive - just a nice bite where it counts)

My First 2 Pedals were EHX Big Muff and Cry Baby Wah in 1976, That Soul Food Sounds a Little Cleaner than the Big Muff, which got very Fuzzy Sounding I'd Like to Hear it with Wah Too!

Hard to detect a distinct difference. I am looking for a pedal to engage while I’m playing on my dirty channel (Orange Super Crush 100) for a bit of saturation, boost, and sustain for lead work. Do you think the Soul Food (or Yngwie) pedal will yield this? Thanks, I enjoyed your video!

This might come as a shock. But you are now synonymous with the Welmocaster. Congratulations. Great effort. Awesome review in hindsight as well. Sounds great. Not as great as the Fender YM but still.

Hey mate, Dave from the states...I broke my wrist several years ago...I had to start from scratch...because it was my fretting hand..I've gain my strength back but any suggestions on what I could to get back the speed I had before the accident, it's not to bad, I notice it..thanks Elmo..love your reviews...

Thanks man, and sorry to hear about your wrist. I can't really say anything else than what I'd say to most other people. Of course you should play slow and clean, but also let go and play a bit over your limit at times, and alternate between the two. Rinse and repeat. I think it's worked for me.

agree, try playing something that is too fast for you for a short period. Then dial back the speed a bit. Alternate this method and it does help you get faster.

gonna buy Soul Food tomorrow, hopefully will get me better results than DOD 308 - as a booster

It's a kind of copy of my Yngwie strat. The main difference is that the body is mahogany.

I have both and to me the od3 is far superior! Am currently going to trade/sell my soul food because i have on order the RC Booster v.2. The Soul Food is great but just not that clean sound I am looking for with my telecaster.
