Splitting the wet and dry signals to two different knobs is the mark of a pedal truly and specifically designed for bassists. Thank you for this. Sounds rad. I can already picture a deluxe version of this coming out with an LFO rate knob, more parameter options per mode, MIDI connectivity, etc.

This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! A means of playing authentic synth sounds on a bass guitar! No latency!

Id be happy with a pedal that just played Oblivion

Just bought it. Been on pretty much every review on KZread researching this. So long as the tracking is good, I think its going to be a favourite and much used pedal.

That last sound is the most beautiful sound i've ever heard come out of a bass!! :D

Holy Moly! I used this pedal for the first time at our rehearsal yesterday. I absolutely love it, especially in combination with an expression pedal and the Big Muff dlx I use. Great stuff and massively inspirational!

I've been waiting for this since the first 9 series pedals were released. Glad to see it has a preset feature! For those that can't fit a Bass Micro Synth on their board, or need a preset, this may be the solution.

This is really cool, glad to see some bass synth love but also waiting on the marianas trench (oceans 11 + canyon)

The multi-pedal jam at the end is just amazing; hats off to you! It’s so easy to fall into the fun of experimenting but loose track of what’s musically worthwhile and what’s interesting but probably a waste of time. Not you!

This is now on my shopping list!

First of all, I am assuming that it is mono due to the bass frequencies. However the tweakability of this one (or even more) combined with the polyphony of the Synth9 would lead to a great pedal. Maybe combined with the expression input controlling various parameters as in the DMB. Assuming also that this pedal accepts both CV and expression, I think a video with the DrumBrute Impact sending clock out to the 8-step sending sequences to the Bass Mono Synth would be great.

With the right EQ cuts and arrangement, it surely should sit pretty fine. The exception could the the "bigger" sounds in the frequency spectrum, but those would be good for a specific part or lead.

Nice to see a Bass pedal like this. These guys get a groove going why not add that special lil some thing like this pedal to send things into other realms.

All those cool sounds and expression pedal capable? I know what I'm getting for my birthday this year! By the way, how does this pedal work with guitar? I mess around with both instruments.

I just wish that the 9 series had the preset and exp pedal functionality.

this thing would be good if it had some basic synth parameters for filter cutoff and resonance as well as some basic envelope functions ADSR or ADR.

I thought exactly the same thing, although I imagine it would be hard to integrate sustain, decay and release, because those are parameters you control with your playing. But yeah, waveform, cutoff, res, lfo, detune...that would be sick!!

I just purchased one of these for my setup. On my board right now, my pedal chain is tuner, comp, octaver, chorus, phaser, delay, and looper. Where would be the best spot to place the Mono Synth? Thanks in advance.

From my experience with my current synth pedals, it always lies best after compressor to help with the tracking and octaver after Synth to thicken the lows on those sharper sounding synth patches.

quick question: when using the WUB function, is it possible to control the CTRL (which control the speed of the effect) with the expression pedal?

The Synth 9 is polyphonic for guitar. No plans for a poly micro synth as its analog and would need a hex pickup.

The only problem is you can’t adjust the effect volume. I tried it. The dry/wet volume is not enough for a live use.

Does it play nice with active basses? Where do you put it? After or before an envelope filter?

manual says this pedal needs to be the first pedal, and never put it in a effects loop.

Do you have to have separate signal chains for dry and synth or can you get a dry/synth blend on the synth channel? Not interested in running to signal chains out of this pedal

No you can use one out and mix synth/dry on the pedal.
