To everyone saying u don't understand how instructions, or that u would need to complete some electrical training first, well your right you should. If u don't understand what he is saying you need more electrical training to even be trying to understand this much less actually use the information. I just finished my electrical apprenticeship and I find his intructions and drawing helpful and easy to understand.

Nice. So by definition, when you have a separate disconnect, the main panel downstream of it is a subpanel, with requirement to NOT bond ground to neutral?

Does a main lug panel on a detached garage (entry service wire to electric pole) have to have a sub panel on a power pole? With no main breaker?

For a future video, how about discussing why the grounds and neutrals must be separated after the main disconnect. Thanks.

I have a meter box with seperate breaker box like your describing, but the electric is going underground up into my meter box. it's 200amp box so what wire size is needed because unfortunately we can't afford an electrician & have already failed our building department inspection due to not having wiring, info is very scarce on this stuff. thank you

I'm going to take a guess and I'm only doing it to hopefully clarify what I think you meant, " Is it from the ground to the bottom of the transformer or ground to the top of the transformer?" If I'm off base then simply ignore this.

Oh, wait! I think I got it now. Sorry, my mind went somewhere else when I was picturing what you wrote. Sorry. It makes sense to me now, 'Do you measure from the ground to the transformer or from the top of the meter to the transformer?

How do you turn all your power source to the breaker box (for a breaker box upgrade) if you don't have a master switch? I would like to upgrade my breaker box to a 200amp box and want all live wires from the old breaker box dead.

Some of your drawings the colored wires are overlapped, just give enough space between them.

We cant see your wiring. Its unclear and not srparated. Its too crowded to make sense of. I have never seen a good video

You cant explain Who are you talking to ? An experienced electrician ? Your instructions would only be helpful to me AFTER I completed an electrician coarse and have had 6months on the job experience. Maybe then, I could understand you.
