I was in an attic tearing out an hvac unit. And my helper said power was off. I believed him. And the way power was ran. It would have been easier to just cut the romex all together. I cut the wires. Loud pop. Sparks flying everywhere. Strippers melted. And somehow. Breaker never tripped. And wires were still live

School gives you 1800 hours towards apprenticeship and because there's a shortage of electricians here, they are making it 2700 Hours. Also they reduced the 8000 Hours to 6500. Thanks to this video I wont be afraid to cut again coz im thinking of ever I will cut the live itself it will explode as it happens to me earlier. Now i will be confident to cut any of the wire with no problems. Thanks Mate 👍

I was installing an AC disconnect today and I blew up my knipex linemans. I turned off the breaker but whoever terminated the load center mislabeled the 2P breakers. There wasn’t a quick way to test the voltage on the wire since it was just a 3’ stub of 8ga SEU sticking out of the wall. I learned today that I’m just going to turn off all the 2 pole breakers because you can’t trust anyone.

Say you have a circuit, a normal wire, live, neutral and ground on a lamp, there would be power on the neutral wouldn’t there? Would there be an explosion if you cut just one of the individual wires? The lamp is on, would there be an explosion if you cut the neutral wire only?

Good video, I felt like you could have had the wires more centered under the camera, however don't take that as negative feedback. It was a very good video and you did great. Funny, in the beginning I thought you were basically saying that you were willingly going to electrocute yourself to death just by the verbiage to someone that's not an expert in this stuff. Anyway God bless you man, keep up the good work

That tester you used we call in Finland "Dead mans pen" because you can't trust it 100%. I was thought to never use one if testing for the purpose of working on the tested object. Only use it for finding wires. Also if you cant find out which breaker some wires are coming from or you have a really long way to the panel you could do what you did to trigger the breaker😂 but I would not advice to doing so but like my last weeks job where the panel was behind a locked door and the owner not coming until 2 hours later I tripped the breaker by connecting hot and neutral. Just don't do this for above 16 amp circuits.
