These guitar libraries are so good, while their bass libraries are so basic. Native Instruments need to update their bass libraries to look more like these and be able to switch playing styles easily.

Agreed, but also you can get MODO bass for relatively cheap with 16 different bass models. I've found MODO vst are much more lightweight than NI bass libs and much more flexible

Just buy Shreddage 3 Precision. It really is the bass guitar you're looking for. As far as the rest of the Shreddage 3 series, Native Instruments is really gaining on them to be honest.

This is outstanding for those who don't have a guitar

Purchased it right away... This is exactly what I was looking for....

i was watching this on the website , and just had to come over here to say whoever does these arrangements on these demo videos needs the utmost praise. because WOW, I was fully immersed and the arrangements were hit emotions to help the script. just an amazing job and now im prob going to buy collectors edition because i was seeing what i would get in it. and this vid was a huge deciding factor for my new excitement in that bundle

I agree. I'm wondering how well using Jam Origin midi guitar control 2 would translate with this so you could use this. Also, think it will be a great tool for writing song ideas.

I’m really impressed with all of the sessions guitar libraries. I bought the Sunburst library years ago and it still works well in most of my compositions.

@@OriginalZypher While I agree completely, a lot of people from different disciplines of music buy Native's guitar libraries as well. Case in point, I'm in a group dedicated about orchestral and hybrid orchestral music, and almost all of them have at least one NI Guitar library.

It would be great if you could make an electric guitar with the strumming patterns of Strummed acoustic 2, electric vintage is great, but you get the up and down strumming pattern and not much more, solos, arpeggios and riffs are easy to make with any vst guitar, what I love most of your guitars is that strumming feels like a real guitar, please consider take that to electric guitars too, thank you

You can do that with the other guitars too, just not when they initially released, check for an update if you can't

Now? LOL. Ample Sound (possibly the best solo guitars and basses), Prominy (also arguably the best), Pettinhouse (top quality and affordable), Indidinus (also top notch but inexpensive), Acoustic Samples (incredible), Ujam (insanely inspirational), Suger Bytes (unbelievable with the right amp plugin), Ilya Effimov (superb), Music Labs (the legend) all have had products to give Shreddage and Orange Tree stiff competition. I'm a bit of a guitar VST slut, and find they all give you something different and crucial even when emulating the same guitar.

If you're looking for fast results with strumming patterns go for Native Instruments Session Guitarist. If you want to solo using a virtual guitar go for Ample Sound. Orange Tree has some serious syncing issues and shreddage isn't that good, either for strumming or soloing.

The Electric sunburst does not let you play independent of the patterns. The electric Vintage does.

@@dare2win215 That's not always true. When NI released Sunburst deluxe then you got a discount if you already had the regular Sunburst. But.. those things don't happen frequently.
