Wow! Great video. I didn't know about this event. Never saw so many EUCs in one video before, either. I look forward to more.

Love how you started the off-road in an idle. We did a race in Oakland and I've been wondering what the best starting position would be...i think that's the winner so far.
You are pushing the sport forward for sure, good job. Love it!

This will be a huge even in the feature! Congratulations!!
Geez, that was some hard riding, the course looks insane. France seems to have it all together, they have well organized sporting events and stores to freely sell wheels to the public.
Wow, that's awesome! Looks like such a blast. Hope to attend one of those someday. Looks like a great community to be apart of. Just started riding on a ks14d about a month ago and loving it so far. Been taking it to the skatepark for advanced practice. Can't wait to upgrade, looking at possibly getting the ks16x

Very nice, guys!
This is a great and awesome video ! I am happy that the community is growing and we need that. On the other side, since the community is getting so big, new rules makes riding more restricted.

Tu gères mon ami bravo 😁👍👏
Great video. Thanks for not editing out the crashes. How far did you have to dissemble your wheel to get it past security? I hear security will often reject the wheel even with batteries removed. I'm trying to figure out my travel between Iceland the US (I live in both countries) and it's near impossible to get my 18XL shipped even with the batteries out. Looking for suggestions other than having 2 wheels or 2 sets of batteries.
@KujiRolls
5 жыл бұрын
Well, i think its gonna be hard without at least two sets of batteries. From my experience and others, if you disassemble it so that the motor and frame are separated, its fine. Its just engineering samples at that point.
Awesome video.

Hey Kuji, could you do a video breakdown (or a text reply) on exactly what you did to get your wheel on a plane? I see you did a lot of disassembly, but I'm wondering about batteries, checked luggage vs. carry-on, the airline you chose, etc. I've talked with a dozen airline reps in the US so far and all of them have very specifically said they don't allow "self-balancing vehicles" in carry-on or checked (even if TSA guidelines around batteries are followed). I think air travel is a big piece of the puzzle to grow this community and do more events like the France games, so this info would be really appreciated.

Great Vid! Always...just be careful when riding with a sweater or hoodie tied around your waist cuz it could get caught by the wheel

Living the dream
Dude sick video! I got so hype watching this, I'll definitely be there next year. I've been experimenting with the idea of air-180's and I saw a guy throw one in this video for the first time ever... Do you know any more about how feasible this is? I broke my old ass Airwheel x8 trying to do this and have been too afraid to try it on my MCM5, my understanding has been that the motor would tweak out because of the change in direction while being air borne. It appears however that it's doable! Thoughts?
@KujiRolls
5 жыл бұрын
I wouldnt do it on your Airwheel x8 because its not very torquey. When you land, you could easily over power it. As for the wheel tweaking out because its in the air... youre not going to be in the air long enough for that to matter.
@nicksneider5463
5 жыл бұрын

Great video! Loved the courses -maybe too slippery... Did you notice any jittering or weird oscillation forward and backward of the KS16X at higher speeds?

@@KujiRolls good to know. I've preordered the 16X and so curious how it'll ride. Chose this over the MSX since I'll be off-road and steep hills a lot. Your early testing video helped me decide.
@KujiRolls
5 жыл бұрын
@@rayraytub1000 Nice. Depending on the type of off-roading you do will depend which ones better. If youre slamming into bumps at 50kph, the MSX might be better, but if youre maneuvering through big rocks or off-roading with hills, the 16X might be better. I still havent beaten the crap out of the production version of the 16X yet so dont put too much weight into this comment.

adding some pads on the sides of the wheel will help you grip it and make you feel like the wheel is an extension of your body.
@Sarajevomusic1
5 жыл бұрын
what sort of material are you and these guys using for pads - how are you attaching?
@KujiRolls

Neoprene foam in various thicknesses (5-40mm). You can layer the sheets of neoprene, shape it with a blade and stick it onto your frame with double sided tape.

Awesome video, Kuji! I noticed you packed your wheel in a suitcase. How did you transport your battery packs? Did you FedEx them separately?
