Electric Engraver V Air Scribe - Fossil Tool workload Comparison
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Testing out how much rock each pen removes in 5mins. I was pretty surprised by the results, if you are thinking of getting an electric engraver to start out with fossil prep then give this video a watch and don't forget to check out Zoic PaleoTech. They haven't sponsored this video and all remarks and ramblings about the product are my own.

Great to see you back... I have a basic air scribe and 3 dremel 290s - short tip, long tip and chisel. I use the dremel for most of my shale stuff. It's just more gentle.
Thank you for the test - I was always wanting to jump in an do some prep of my own but watching the airscribers filled me with FOMO. FOMO NO MO - I reckon I can live with the downsides while starting out with junior kit thanks to your side by side comparison. Thanks again and glad to see the mojo’s back 🙂
Such an interesting and informative comparisson. Thanks!
Great to see you back buddy another amazing video, thanks

It’s a really good bit of kit, the tips you’ve made work so well! I’ll be sure to recommend it as a starter bit of kit to the families on my walks. I really need to get over and meet you guys soon.
Amazing video. I've just bought the dremel to prep my first fossil with the future aim to progress to the air pen. Nice to see the huge comparrison but also to see the dremel will still get the job done. Cheers bud 👍

Yeah hopefully folk can get a bit of an idea now of how well the electric engravers work, really impressed for the price, a good starter bit of kit for the budding fossil prepper.

@@TheFossilAcademy dude that's horrific, I can't even begin to imagine what that's like
Any chance you can do a little video on nodules and what rocks to look out for to split? I've found various small pyrite ammonites but looking for some slightly larger and calcified specimines. Cheers. Keep up the good work on your channel.
