Kudos to your efforts and dedication, the results clearly show that it pays off. But all of this is exactly why I have a strict and simple set of rules on my home track. 10 days, 3-4 times a day messing with those tires? Such ideas and others of this calibre were the reason, why 1 person in my previous group of racers lapped considerably faster than anyone else and won every single heat in a 6 race season except 1. The 2nd fastest, as in 2nd best equipped, guy managed to win a single heat, because the fast guy had a technical failure on his car. Still managed to come 2nd tho. I don’t have the time and the tools to prepare a car like this for every race. We use revoslots. Straight out of the box, the get taken apart completely, put back together with slack at the right places as well as lubricants with a run in motor. I add the required decoder for a digital carrera track, add lights to taste and allow any additional weights anywhere in the car. Set up like this 9 out of 10 cars achieve lap times within less than a tenth on the 2 tracks we race. Weights don’t make them faster, just more stable for more consistent racing and less tip over crashes. Original tires, no messing around with them. Racing has never been more exciting than today, all participants are able to win and heats usually develop into multi car battles decided by nothing but a driver‘s skill and focus. Contrary to many others I also race 12 to 15 minute heats with fuel consumption that never requires all pit stops to go to 100% all the time. That way you can gain a bit with your pit strategy. Sorry for the rambling, thank you very much for sharing your techniques!

Home racing has nothing to do with club racing, worlds apart. Home racing is just for the joy and fun of racing with friends(any rules come second to having fun), whereas Club racing requires working on driving skills, engineering and strategy( and money of course, but not that much), club racing is for those with a competitive spirit who like managing teams and cars like the F1 or Indy but with a lot less money.😉

I keep seeing the same issue of Slot it wires breaking at the guide flag with so many folks trying to solder and use set screws. I use the new Slot.it guide (85B? )with the set screws to hold the Ferrule in place and make sure I strip enough wire to wrap around the bottom. Haven't had a failure yet in the 3 Enduros I have used it in (3-4 hours).

Your videos are great! I live close to Electric Dreams and want to setup my GpC car. What size Slot.it tires did you use on the front? PT07 - Z0 Compound ZeroGrip Tires - 18.8 x 10mm OR PT15 - Z0 Compound Low Profile ZeroGrip Tires - 16.5 x 10mm? You didn't mention it in the video. But you did mentioned the rear tire size and part number used. Congrats on your win!
