Yeah looks great. The noise factor alone is an issue for me since all I can do is cruise around the neighborhood and close trails.

Hey bro, so awesome to see another Aussie guy named James that is also into RX7s and electric motorbikes...... Just like me 😁 I live on the Gold Coast and I've got a wide body FC RX7 (brand new REW motor)+ lots of other mods. Got a Stealth H52 with no battery pack ATM. Got a mini pocket bike with all the bits to go electric also 😎

I don’t think 2WD would be necessary, but a very cool idea! No complaints at all. The bike is absolutely awesome and haven’t yet had one person ride it and not love it!

Also, did you only have it in mode 1? Have ELMOFO, programmed other profiles? I guess from what EBMX do with BAC8000 and the Surrons there could be much more aggressive profiles.

Sure can. Regen settings are completely programmable and adjustable. As is the power delivery for the various modes. It’s pretty amazing

Yeah probably mate. The way the power is delivered is very different. I hope to soon do some side by side comparison videos with a 250 4 stroke and a 2 stroke

i was debating making a frame around this motor and controller kit i had 2 other motors that i was looking at but the main thing is what would you think about CVT on a bike of this nature?

I don’t believe there’s the need if you get gearing and motor speed correct. Bike has plenty of torque from standing start, all the way up to nearly 100km/h. Plenty fast enough for the bush!

Definitely more powerful than a 125cc. Similar to a 250cc but with more instantaneous torque

I know it can spin the rear tire at low RPM, but I'm very curious how hard it pulls out of fast corners or lofts the front in the equivalent of 3rd or 4th gear (I'm in Utah, USA and I do a fair amount of desert & sand riding)

Hi David. A little hard to answer that, but having rode it for over 2 hours yesterday in a variety of conditions, I can confirm it has no trouble lifting the front wheel at almost any speed. Especially in mode 2!

How is the throttle response? Is it pretty subtle or pretty instant?

I would describe it as instant. But there are different modes that allows for different power delivery curves. They are also configurable in the BMS

Yes correct. Fairly tight trails and not really suitable for much higher speed until I take the bike to more open tracks

Range you mean? It depends on type of riding, regen settings and riding mode selected but comfortably 40+km to a single charge

Haven’t fully tested that yet but I rode for and hour and it wasn’t even half depleted. So I’m guessing approx 2.5 hours or 150km, depending on the type of riding
