Electric Callboy recently completed a hit and run mission to Australia, drawing capacity crowds despite touring in and around the same time as Good Thngs 2023.
HEAVY's own Coco Le Sex Bomb sat down with Nico (Sallach, vocals) and David (Friedrich, drums) just before their final show in Brisbane to find out how the tour went and just what is happening in the Electric Callboy camp.

This band has become my all time favorite! I just love their style and also how well the band members harmonize with eachother despite Sushi's departure. It's like this band is a family

Good interview, but why does it sound like it was done in the back of a music store? The guys are so down to earth and yet so up there in talent. Unreal.

I reckon it was the sound check for the show they would do on their last night Oz.
I'm not into live shows anymore. So the wait between studio albums is the worst part for me. I just want them to get back into the studio & make a new album before too much time passes & they lose it. As an artist, I know how it is. You need to keep striking while you're hot because shit happens in life & your mental state changes. I really hope they can keep making albums as awesome as Tekkno. But as time goes by & they get older things will slowly change.

And they would lose that spark that makes them great if they didn't take the time to tour and write a proper album. If all they did was put out new albums every single year, how long do you suppose it would take before it turned to shit?
