As a manufacturing engineer this makes me cry. Just look at 5:16 and pause there. My back is hurting just by looking at it. And who can make a solid weld like that guy on the right side? How hard is it to just give them benches!?

This manufacturing unit is againt labor law. Safety shoes r not provided for workers who handle heavy metal objects. Face masks and eye glasses r not provided. No glovses while handling electric equipments.

For India this is a clean and well organized factory. The spray painters have overhead suction. Of course an extra face shield would be still good. Also, many people in India do not mind to work sitting on the floor instead of standing at a bench. I have been to many factories, not scooter production, others. The worst was a factory that handles 140 - 150 C foodstuffs where the workers have no gloves or apron, and they walk around with slippers. Many had burn scars on hands and arms.

You can see it’s being sucked away from them otherwise the whole factory would be inundated with it, the suction is taking the overspray away from their faces.
