Electra Glide In Blue (1973) Official Trailer
Фильм және анимация
Trailer for Electra Glide In Blue.
The only thing good-hearted motorcycle cop John Wintergreen (Robert Blake, In Cold Blood, Baretta) wants is to become a detective...to wear a big Stetson, smoke fancy cigars and be paid to think. So when he stumbles upon a dead body, he takes the case -- and proves he's got the right stuff! But as soon as he's promoted, he finds that the corruption he must tolerate makes his Stetson not fit so well and the cigars not taste so good. Forced to confront his own disillusionment, Wintergreen heads out on his bike, the Electra Glide, and makes another shocking discovery that could cost him his life!

RIP Mr Blake. An odd troubled man who was in some great movies and shows. The movie I always think of when his name comes up is Electra Glide In Blue. It's classic gritty 70s movie, and if you have not see than one, see it.

I love this film the same way I love Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. Very 70s. Full of atmosphere with really great characters.

Watch 'Busting' stars Robert Blake amd Elliott Gould, directed by Peter Hyams. It's a cop drama - the movie was a blueprint for the 70's television series 'Starsky & Hutch'.

Agree 👍👍👍
Several cameo appearances by the rock band Chicago in this plus Terry Kath playing bass on a lot of the soundtrack.
RIP Bob 🕯🕯🕯
Heartbroken over the passing of robert blake a childhood hero
The roll call shot early on where they slowly go down the row of tough cop faces and . . . you can barely see the top of Wintergreen's helmet...excellent. It sets him us as the longshot underdog and keeps him there no matter how capable he shows himself to be.

No such thing as a tough cop. They are dependent on their gang, weapons and a corrupt US government to back them up. Oh, and their silly costume, of course.
Saw this when I was 13 or 14, Rob zombie was hosting the showing of the movie late night on TCM, miss those days
Love this movie! One of my all-time favorites!
RIP Robert Blake. Still have this Soundtrack Album and posters. The Record Cover was on the wall of Captain's Office in "Hill St. Blues"...
Was twelve years old when this came out. Awesome movie.

Darn good flick. Shame it didn't get rave reviews and more attention.
The best movie Robert Blake ever done! It's probably the only Robert Black movie I ever liked. His TV series Baretta was the 2nd thing he's ever done that I liked.

Negative negative negative. I remember when this came out (and saw it many times!) and the voice over said, "A five foot two man in a six foot one world". What happened to THAT trailer, huh?

The best movie ever seen
Good show, RIP.
Fantastic movie . Didn't get much publicity when it came out.in my top 10
A very underrated movie
Now I know what inspired Lustig for the Maniac Cop intro!
Great movie.
I introduced a local police motorcyclist to this movie he didn't know about it.
Vastly under rated movie ! Even though I never like mini man Robert Blake, it was still a unique plot , and a surprising ending.
I'm gonna do for you what took somebody 6 mos. to do for me... What's that? Nothin'! 🤣
Definitely gonna watch this

Kinda surreal after watching him in the Our Gang comedies and "Mokey".
Saw this as a double feature at the drive-in. Great days. It's actually filmed liked a Western in the style of the 40's and 50's.
Never saw this movie 🎬. Too young 1st time round❤️
Terry Kath is in this. Google it
No way did the rider stay on that Police bike at 2.50 !
Hilarious movie... I was Rollin my ass off! Great acting, steady pace not boring. This movie had some kool characters, fun police chase stunts and a real sad ending.👍👍

United artist.
This trailer doesn't serve the film well at all. It is a much more complex movie than the trailer portrays.

This trailer is a mess.
Ol' Harve was right!
My dislike for MGM is pretty much, that they don't honor the United Artists history, which is way more better, despite the "HEAVEN'S GATE" fiasco in 1981,that made it possible for United Artists to be brought by MGM,when they lost millions on that movie! "ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE" was among many of the top UA movies of the 1970s,when they were still owned by Transamerica,,and today,MGM is nothing more, but a privately owned investment of financial partners, run by Gary Barber, and does nothing original anymore, but remaking and ripping off their own Film and TV library,or having to do their movies through co financing, with SONY,(who are among the co investors, with four other consortiums) and overall, this is absolutely pathetic! MGM today, stands for "MisGuided Management",since they're pretty much about surviving on their massive library, through the buying of United Artists,Orion,PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, and Samuel Goldwyn,,plus surviving their recent Chapter 11 situation some five plus years ago-seriously pathetic! they've recently reinstated United Artists, but it's simular to what they allowed in 2006,when actor Tom Cruise and his manager Paula Wagner, were allowed to management this company, but with extremely disappointing results ("LIONS FOR LAMBS" and "VALKYRIE") so they currently leased out the division to actress Roma Downey and Mark Burnett,as "United Artists Media Group",which is equally as pathetic as Tom Cruise's previous handling! that's why MGM today,is in seriously bad shape, despite barely being able to do it's business, like the former Hollywood studio that it once used to be,when they owned the Culver City lot, which is now owned by SONY-also pathetic! all the serious mismanagement over the decades, sure damaged this studio, nor did selling their birthright to Ted Turner in 1985 help any, since his company merged with Time Warner in 1996,and eventually becoming the property of Warner Bros.Entertainment, which now owns a good portion of the classic Metro Goldwyn Mayer Movie and Television library! a very bad piece of financial and corporate mismanagement, with highly inferior results,in the present!
i think the boots got to these cops brains.like they were SS or something, beyond the law.
The movie great example of police tyranny must see

Tyranny
A highly entertaining, exciting, and realistic movie, infinitely better than the stuffy old critics claim (the same critics who love the tediously boring and contrived The English Patient).
