I get what he's saying about the middle class. However the middle class is not gatekeeping proper health services from the lower class, the middle class and everyone already paying medical aid is more concerned about how the services at health institutions will deteriorate to the same level the public health institutions are at. Like he said the intention for such initiatives is often good, but we all know that our intentions and our reality in our country are far apart. Yes we're already paying for private medical aid, but I'd rather pay knowing I'll get covered when I need the services than have more money go to tax and continue have terrible state services.

I disagree, you need to up the standard of the state clinics and hospitals if this is not done NHỈ is useless. Example in a seen the new law says the ambulance must take everyone to the nearest hospital even if it’s private but guess what it’s not happening cos private hospitals don’t have time for government long processes to pay for claims. So like wise you go to government hospitals they run short of medication most of the times.

As a country we have a serious identity issue. Are we trying to be China cheerleaders through our BRICS involvement or are we open to actively seek opportunities in other African nations just like they have an interest in South Africa? I don't get why we are so inward looking when today's economy demands more novel ideas.

Sorry i am watching this video and i think the conversation is great and its super important, so i want to lay out a different option for the government that has been promoted by the SRF: the DA can give the the ANC a confidence and supply agreement. That would mean the anc forms a government and the DA would then block votes of no confidence in the president and they will be given parliamentary oversight and the speaker position.

The DA supports universal healthcare. Ill quote from the starting point they envision: Allocate a universal subsidy to every South African citizen and legal resident. Every person will be able to choose whether to buy public or private sector cover with their subsidy. The value of the subsidy would be set in relation to an affordable and comprehensive package of services available within the public health system. It sounds a lot like what you are suggesting. I should also mention that their plan is fully costed meaning they can already draw up a budget that would include this. That is why it isnt as comprehensive as we would all want it to be. However it is part of their aims to jave universal healthcare styled on european democracies.

29:00 The EFF is a party of confusion, they shouldn’t have any real power. Simple example, they dress working class, yet they claim that they appeal to the youth *student* vote. How do you reconcile that? Students are at university because they hope to be middle class or better. Working class have limited aspirations for highly intellectual vocations, academics (mental gymnastics) is far removed physically labour, particularly unskilled labour. Today they want the to be servants (minister) of finance. Why not mining or higher education? As you put it, a vote for the ANC is a vote for hope. Ramaphosa is a lot of things but he is not outright incompetent and corrupt, as unsettling as that may sound, he has run a clean shop. I still suffer from Ramaphoria, I expect him to be the best candidate for leading a government of unity. He managed to get white money into DD’s pocket… that’s a political hole in one.

People goes to villages to campaign for votes driving R500 000 vehicles, should they be waking or riding bicycles because those people at the villages are poor? so why Malema's dress code? that's limited thinking. lets focus on the heart of the matter. PAC moved away from the ANC, when its leaders were asked why? the said ANC moved away from the Ideology of its formation, so the PAC is continuing with that Ideology. so EFF/MK did not move away from the ANC but the ANC moved away from the freedom charter. so EFF/MK continuing with the freedom charter.

White people already contribute their taxes to South Africa. They have different funds to help disadvantaged people. I think cooperation is better than victim blaming. The problem is in the government system that empowers itself by taking that power from black people and keeping racial divide to have always someone to blame, but not themselves.

BEHIND the scene the DA party in South Afrika ((an off-shoot of the Apartheid era white minority ruling National Party) has been working to form a coalition government with the ANC since 2019. This is what the DA wanted as confirmed in a leaked audio recording of Helen Zille (former DA party leader) from 2019: "We can consolidate the DA around 20% of the vote. Then the ANC falls to 40%. I'd make a tough demand on Ramaphosa's ANC & go into coalition with them. That must be our aim for the next election. We want 20%SAns, remember there is only 8% white." Source: KZread: South Africa election was rigged (Time: 2:22 min) by KHAMIT ETHIC. As long as Ramaphosa is President of the ANC it should come as no surprise that the ANC forms an alliance with the DA-both the DA and the ANC are funded by the money class that dominate the SA economy.

The DA descends from the Democratic Party (which contested the 1994 elections against the National Party, ANC, IFP, etc). The Democratic Party was formed during the era of Apartheid as a representative of white people who were against Apartheid.

Quote from the DA's Wikipedia page: "The modern day DA is in large part a product of the white parliamentary opposition to the ruling National Party. The origin of the party can be traced to the mid-1950s when some younger members of the United Party felt that they were not providing strong enough opposition to the National Party and its policy of Apartheid, causing them to break away and form the Progressive Party in 1959. In the 1970s, as it rose to become the official opposition, the party merged with more splinters from the disintegrating United Party and become known first as the Progressive Reform Party and then as the Progressive Federal Party. The Progressives sought to change the system from within, but in doing so chose to comply with Apartheid legislation outlawing multi-racial membership. During this time, the party was led by liberal-minded opponents of apartheid, such as Jan Steytler, Helen Suzman, Zach de Beer, Colin Eglin, Frederik van Zyl Slabbert and Harry Schwarz. In 1989, it merged with two smaller reformist organisations to become the Democratic Party, a name that was retained into the 1990s when freedom was achieved. It was marginalised by the National Party's shift towards the center after 1990, and fared relatively poorly in the first democratic election in 1994, won by the African National Congress."

@@FarberBob678 Do proper research. The DA was formed by the apartheid era National Party. #1: National Party (NP), South African political party, founded in 1914, which ruled the country from 1948 to 1994. Its following included most of the Dutch-descended Afrikaners and many English-speaking whites. The National Party was long dedicated to policies of apartheid and white supremacy, but by the early 1990s it had moved toward sharing power with South Africa’s Black majority. In June 1996 the National Party left the national unity government-its first time out of government since 1948. The party sought to recast its image by changing its name to the New National Party (NNP) in December 1998. In 1999, however, its support fell, and it won only 28 seats in Parliament. The following year the party formed the Democratic Alliance with the Democratic Party and the Federal Alliance, though the NNP withdrew in 2001. Source: National Party (NP) | Definition, History, & Facts, Britannica www.britannica.com › topic › National-Party-polit... NOTE: NP→NNP→DA #2 Democratic Alliance South Africa’s official opposition is rooted in the apartheid era liberal order with its original incarnation being the Progressive Party founded in 1959. After many mergers and breakaways, the party fought the 1994 elections as the Democratic Party, with Tony Leon as its leader, but secured less than 2% of the vote. The Democratic Party became the official opposition in 1999 before merging (and eventually splitting) with the remnants of the apartheid era National Party and Federal Party to become the Democratic Alliance (DA) in 2000. your comment does not make sense based on how the MK have managed it self thus far, look at it legal battles, they won, how MK was planned and formed how they campaigned, the results KZN 40% National 15%, have you had the spokesperson of the MK when interviewed the brain and wisdom, how they handled the press conference at The Roc IEC, how they handled the matter of those smaller parties, come 2026 in KZN the ANC will not govern any local municipality, be careful of the support JZ have in KZN and in SA, people are not aware that JZ when he was the President was attacked by the media and hated by the colonizer for what he did in Afrika and black business in RSA, so JZ is the threat to white minority privileges. JZ is better than Cyril because he has learned and will correct his mistakes because his support is black people while Cyril on the other hand is supported by white business. MK will grow stronger
