Thanks . I been banned or ratioed by KZread/ google . If you center it . It lasts a whole lot longer . I rebuilt this ,and used good parts ,and thread locker (orange) and it's lasted a good while . I have a few more trick to show people a little later . I'm getting a whole lot more hp and torque with better fuel economy. I guess youtube might be loosing up their stranglehold on me?

Yup . It's usually a novelty, but we figured out a way to make them last a little longer. It turns the motor over very fast ,and it also makes electric charge.... a lot of charge. 18v. They call it electric pull start. It adds about 2 lbs.

it has to have the correct crankshaft end . if it is tapered ,and takes a small bolt hole ? it will work . if it is to take a nut ? it will not fit . . this is a TL 52 clone , but some cateye engines can use them too . they are the same , but you want the correct crankshaft end .

It's just a bolt that fits down the threads . It pushed itself off . You need a metric bolt that is bigger than the one that is the little on down the inside that keeps it on . I think it is 6 or 8 mm ? It is a press fit . May be easier with a impact gun/ drill. Hope that helps

Press a button. It also makes electricity. So you can charge the battery too. But it can over volt as it is a generator too. Don't want too high of rmp when charging with it.

It is a China clone of a Mitsubishi TL52 engine. Or 1E44f you may have a ground problem inside the cover with the wire or need to replace the coil. But sometimes you are more ahead to just spend the hundred for the whole thing? Then you get everything. Just be sure to thread lock most everything again before use. Q.C. is not good whatsoever.

If you have a electric start ? Keep it off to keep it cool! It can lasts waayyy longer with plenty of cooling and centered correctly! I carry the pull start separately, and put it on in a pinch/ dead battery. I have about 8000 miles on my scooter, been through 5 motors about 9 starters . Rebuilt most of them . Aliexpress starters are the same ,but for wayy less! About 45-55 bucks compared to 75-90 on ebay

I just use a 20v impact drill . Worked 9.5 out of 10 times, and it does not get junk in the cylinder. The hold down bolt is not that hard to remove. Especially if you have the correct set up with the correct electric pullstarter double bolt . I made a new lower noise exhaust with tons more torque, feels like 3.5hp -4.hp . but been working on a new electric hyper scooter design. Been too busy to make a video on that for now . Sorry... thanks for the advice . Make absolutely sure that it is centered when you put it back on, and not rubbing the stator . It will rob too much hp.

I'd personally make a Lithium battery pack this time. That's what I'm doing next . Much much lighter and waayyy more powerful. But 12volt 9 ah agm is what best as a starter for just starting... 7ah will work too , but if you intend to make a kind of hybrid ? You need larger like 22-24ah 👍. But that gets pretty heavy fast with Lead acid . A 4.5b lithium has more juice than a huge14.5lb lead acid in every department! The discharge is up to 18volts when used as a generator with lots of amps coming out of the starter . So you need to be careful if you use it that way ? To recharge the system . It will fry any battery fast if not careful! I really need to make new/ better videos ,but I absolutely Hate KZread lately!
