Things don't quite go according to plan as Eleanor and Steph try to make the perfect roast potatoes. Just 3 ingredients are needed: great potatoes, lots of fat, and salt. Just make sure you get your timings right!
The Dinner Ladies are Eleanor and Steph who sometimes follow recipes, sometimes wing it, but (nearly) always produce tasty food and easy cooking recipes for dinner.

    I can’t believe you two don’t have more subscribers your videos are fun and informative and the chemistry between you too is lovely to see.I do the Sunday dinner in our house and that’s two adults and 5 children to feed so it’s a lot of king Ed’s and beef dripping!But I cook mine the opposite as in low and slow. That’s gas mark 3 for at least 3 hours!It might sound crazy but it’s works. The potatoes take on more of the fat and they are crispy and have fluffy insides.Oh and I agree king Ed’s are not the same all year round and cook better at some times of the year then others.Thanks for the great content..

    She is right, top chef can leave them overnight, Its how heston does his 3 times cooks chips, boil till they start to break up, then par fry, place on tray, in the fridge to chill, it allows the oil to pentrate the cracks, cook again, chill, then final fry hi heat, i did try it, to be honest there was no difference lol, alot of work for nothing, my roasties now there is only 2 of us, i boil till soft, in deep fryer cold oil, and set fryer to 130, it boils the water of potatoes as oil heats up, no spashing, fry till crispy,
