I have been quilting for 45 years. Every time I watch one of your quilt-along videos I learn an easier or more efficient way to achieve reliable results. You are Our National Treasure now, so please keep making videos of the most challenging techniques! There are only a handful of quilters in the world with your knowledge base who also are gifted teachers. Thank you, thank you, thank you

I agree. Been sewing and quilting for about the same amount of time, 45 years. Watching Edyta is sheer joy. Learn new and easier ways of sewing. I am always mesmerized by her. 🥰❤️🧵🪡

So many quilting instructors share only the easiest techniques, or the fastest patterns. That's not bad - there are tons of new quilters who need that, and tons of more experienced quilters who want that (including myself many times!) - but it can be limiting as a quilter who is trying to stretch myself and learn more difficult, experienced techniques. Thank you for believing in your audience enough to encourage us to try these more advanced techniques! Also, I've been wanting to make this quilt since I first saw the pattern, and having you walk us through it is so helpful! Thank you!

Bonjour et merci ! Good morning, Thank you so much for sharing 3 videos so close in a week. It’s very dynamic to see the whole process. One step at a time I hope Eldon fear will fly away. Have a nice day from South of France !

You are an amazing teacher. I love this block. I have been using paper piecing my whole quilting life of 28 years. However, I am going to try this pattern because you make it look do-able.

I have the book and would NEVER have attempted this without your tutorial! Have just finished the quilt top from the tutorial before last, can't remember what it's called, but I have some gorgeous fabric of yours left over... I'm going to be hand quilting at night, machine sewing by day. Getting over a mastectomy. I always quilt when something bad happens and it gets me through.

Y-seams … instructors boast all the time that their techniques contain no Y-Seams! I began quilting under the impression that Y-Seams could not be tackled by mere mortals! I have watched all 3 of the Eldon videos and your simple explanations and enthusiastic encouragement have led me to believe that I could do it! Thank you for opening avenues to more skillful quilting methods!

Thank you so much for this sew along. I'm having so much fun making Eldon. The Eldon pattern is in Patches of Stars book which I have had for years, and it took this sew along to finally have the courage to make this quilt. I'm also working on Stars upon Stars.....These quilts will look amazing in my living room. Thank you for your videos and for all the encouragement.

I have loved this quilt since I first saw it in your book years ago. Thank you thank you thank you for doing this incredible quilt along! ❤I took the fabrics ( starched, pressed and cut into strips) to my friends’ quilt retreat in Volcanoes National Park am finally sewing the blocks together with their backgrounds now that I’m back home in N California. Watching your videos repeatedly reveals more of your precise and ever helpful tips and tricks. You’re the best, Edyta ❤

Wouldn't just the block be gorgeous using bigger pieces than adding on a binding to use for a centerpiece on a table or as a tree skirt, a table runner, bags, or if one is good at making quilted coats/jackets, this would be perfect

You make it look so easy! I appreciate you for taking the time to break down the steps. One question, could we also use the plastic Eldon templates to make the Illuminate quilt? I noticed similar star shapes in both designs even though the secrions are pieced differently.

Love, love, love the quilt and how you explain in great details. Do have a question. When you go to add the log cabin and start sewing at the first point, should I do a back stitch there too then sew to the other dot? And once to the second dot, you say back stitch but when ready to sew onto the second side of the diamond do we back stitch again from the middle point out towards the tip with a back stitch at the tip? I'm excited to try this one out. I've been quilting off and on for over 30 years and I love the look of ✨
