Well, that was a very hectic day for you all. Great to see almost all your folks. By the way what's the event about ? Those kids are so cute and calm. It's so great to hear some conversations in your native language. And wow, your dad seems to enjoy cooking. I remember him cooking a chunks of beef in your earlier vlog.

Phaykay means ‘ Phya’- Hen and ‘kay’ means share to the new born’s mother. It’s an ancient custom practiced by the Bhutias and Lepchas in Sikkim. Today not many people follow the traditional birth rites. In modern times most people here celebrate the birth of a child and the new mother in different ways.
