To understand oneself, others and growth one must fall into cracks (no, not the crack of a deserted summit). Let me rephrase that; to perhaps get ones foot stuck in a gap. The importance is what we decide (may it be with or without assistance from others) after we get stuck. To abandon the shoe perhaps is maybe what could work the best or find a way to wiggle it out of there. Anyhow, it should not be the case that one keeps their foot entangled or rooted. To be stagnant, snared from moving forward is denying oneself of understanding and perhaps from unnumbing. PSA: before I get cut to the ground and decapitated by the interweb cavalry, I am not trying to tell you how to live nor am I stating my ways to be superior/for the better. It is a possible solution if you feel stuck. ~♡

Same. It's taken 8 months of breaking up to finally break up and it's been bad all 8 months. Horrible. Family issues compiled on top of that as well. Elderbrook, you broke me out of a 4month depression and agoraphobia. I was suicidal and very ok with that, plan done, just needed to write my son a letter. Then I heard "Talking" and "Could". Ive never looked back. Thank you

This video does an amazing job of depicting the deeper meanings behind the music. The feelings of numbness that one succumbs to when they end up in a place that they are not all too familiar with. In the end, we may feel like we are alone, but others share this path with us, if we only look around us to see them. As a person who traveled frequently for my job, I felt this all too often. elderBrook, you've done an amazing job, and to this day, it is one of my favorite songs of all time.

Really get this .... I suffer with chronic depression and anxiety , which in turn led to addiction to numb the pain of day to day living ( which in turn again made things 100% worse ) ... I am now abstinent from drugs and drink . I found this song and for the first time in a while...I feel alive and life looks good . Music is one of the best anti depressants in life it makes your blood flow clean and stimulates ... amazing tune elderbrook ... peace and 💚 pure 🔥 ... just a straight BANGER all round

1 of the most underrated song ever!

I feel relieved that I stumbled across a song that I can relate so deeply to. Love songs tend to either be about passion or heartbreak. This is simply about being numb to all of it.

Is it her that's numb or the people who pass her by... something as little as a smile can lift someone or even an "are u OK" can mean so much

I was looking like crazy this song half an hour looking in my history, and I can say that it is the best thing I did in my day
