Any cinematic done for the Star Wars the old republic universe is always amazing, Every year a new trailer is released, and each year anyone who watches it wishes they would make a movie already. Any one of the cinematics is great but to name a few "Return", "Hope", and "Two Brothers" are all top tier animation and storylines. 10/10 would recommend for a reaction. Enjoy.

Discovered your channel last night while watching some random videos about Warhammer 40k and today a new video popped up. Interesting coincidence! Love that frame you paused at 8:56, at a glance, because of the slight blurring, makes it look almost like a cosplay photo of sorts. 10:57 to me as well felt "too" lit, almost like it's a photo done at a studio, with the character then cropped out and added into a different scene where the lighting just doesn't match fully. I understand you're mostly focused on all the fancy visuals, effects, and whatnot, but the other Elder Scrolls online cinematics might be a fun binge-watch, not even for KZread, just personal viewing. When the game launched it was focused on a huge 3-way faction war vying for control of the Cyrodiil's Imperial City, located pretty much in the center of the map (check out the map of Tamriel, where the Elder Scrolls games primarily take place). There are also 3 different races per faction (for a total of 9, with a 10th one that isn't tied to any faction, because everyone's fighting in their territory!), so it's more than just big angry Vikings, magic elves, and sneaky regular humans. ESO later turned into more of a classic Elder Scrolls experience instead of focusing on the war, so the trio is now adventuring together. :) I'd say at least worth checking out "The Alliances," which is the first cinematic for ESO, you might enjoy seeing the difference between then and now!

You should definitely watch the Hellblade II trailer shown at The Game Awards 2023. It looks awesome as a trailer... until you realize it's entirely in game footage. Then it's unbelievable.

The little section of the score at the beginning that you loved is from the main Elder Scrolls score. They make the same theme for every Elder Scrolls "main" game (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim), but with variations. The one in this cinematic sounds closest to the Morrowind theme. Definitely check it out, it's a classic.

I think you really, really should react to the first three from the Elder Scrolls Online. They make a story together, it's great and gorgeous.

To reflect on the hyper realism - I feel like the more and more technology progresses for games, it often tends to be more "movie like" experience for the players. I feel like the animators / studios are trying to get this feeling. For example, Death Stranding (go watch the trailer if you have not done so already) - the game it's self feels like a movie that you have chances to interact with. Same for StarCraft and several other games. They have so much in-game cinematics, that it is more a move at this point :D I think this is also why they try to immerse the potential players in the world via these amazing cinematic trailers. Several in-game cutscenes are also amazing - and some people make "full length" movies out of games on youtube. I love that genre :D
