The Maliketh Blade spell is ridiculous if your using faith. I know it’s old but if you want to take a chunk of damage out quick it’s awesome. I actually think it’s my favorite spell. I wish we could start a petition to make an elden ring 2. I would donate to the cause. I think this is the greatest game ever made.

Ran this same build since the DLC dropped but with the Erdtree shield to reflect projectiles for some ranged holy retaliation.

I found prayerful strike to be amazing on this thing, you can tank most attacks during the animation and get the health back on hit & it hits hard af. Seal in left hand for range

I tried this build out, and damn, does it rule! Commander Gaius and Scadutree Avatar were total jokes against my brick wall defenses and big bonk attacks. The ranged poke damage of sacred blade is also super useful in a pinch

YEEEEEEEEEEEE buddy!!!!

Remove the shield and use the deflecting hardtear to parry like sekiro with the weapon. Its extremly fun and i would recommend trying it.

@@pastorgainzgames yeah shield also allows for black knight role play if you use the black knight armor but i use armor of solitude and only the weapon since the deflect tear makes your physical guard 100% with a well timed block and i just beat malenia with deflecting her like that. Its awsome.

Yes indeed I believe you get an A scaling in stength

The black steel greathammer with the sacred infusion has been my favorite weapon in the DLC and I've found that the prayerfull strike ash of war is absolutely incredible with it. Does a ton of dmg and you get some health back. I tend to bait enemies/bosses into trading blows with the ash of war and it works out pretty well.

If your gonna use a shield use the fingerprint one it has way better stats

nah its waaaaay to heavy man.

If you want a fun pure faith build I'd reccomend the fire knight greatsword as a build. You can wack 99 faith and use the fire knight skills which can be buffed by messmers helm and knight armours as well as fire / two hand talismans. Fun easy build to max faith incantations as well as shelling out huge damage getting a flaming sword and a sick moveset with a poke. Made the dlc very fun.

Could always use sword of light before boss fights

did my first playthough with this exact build. For the final boss I holy infused the shield and got 100% holy negation on the shield. 0 damage form anything he does in the 2nd phase; This build is nuts

Maybe use a lighter shield so you can have a spare talisman slot for something better like SOA or the Sacred Scorpion Charm. Just my 2 cents.

Holy damage became better in the DLC however it still is rough at end game and you have to rely on your Physical damage since most bosses are immune.

Wondered why his damage numbers were so small till i saw the stats lol. Dunno if thats because 150 ks good for pvp or if it's because that's "average" level for the dlc, but I'm gonna try this build out on my level 230 character with 99 str and like 30 faith

So anything over 150 was not considered a build for the longest time. Is the bar moving up? Is 200 the new cap? I am fine with that which means more damage and stat allocation. However any time I put a build out that was over 150 people raged out lol

@pastorgainzgames I have no idea what the numbers are for what's considered a "build". I know there's certain stats for pvp that are better to get more matches but I only play pve. Usually for the dlc ppl are closer to / past level 200 from what I've noticed. If you got hate for going past 150 in the past I wasn't saying to do that again, just wondered why the level was kinda low. Also while I'm here, is there any particular reason you used that shield? I would have though the fingerprint shield would be better since the blacksteel one doesn't seem to have any special properties.

I think I found a better one that does 9k to 13 k damage against undead enemies you need savage lion claw ash of war make sure it holy. Then for the tails man you need dragon greatshild, curve sword,sharde of Alexander,and holy scorpion charm. For the physick you need holy cracked tear and deflect harden tear. try the build out it pretty good.

So I don't make videos for people like you. People who come in and just trash others. I make videos because I enjoy it and because of that I have been able to help a lot of people. However people like you who come in and want to nit pick and rip others work down I don't have time for man. I do this format of video because it is what people want to see, they want to see how the build performs, where to get the items, and it has been working out great so far. You can think what you want when it comes to "Why" I do it but you have no idea who I am or anything about me. if YOU do not like my format then don't watch.
