For DLC any fast pace weapon with status effect will be good, i will definitely leave fire damage on a second instance since the main boss is fire related which will probably makes it resistant to that element.

you can use any other staff you have avaialable, and i recommend the same stats with lower values

i have multiple builds around those katanas bro, i prefer the rivers of blood over the moonveil but both katanas hit pretty damn hard1 :D

so does this actually outdamage rivers of blood and nagakiba in your videos? Why does this need 33 faith when vow just need 25?

When the dlc drops your level wont matter at all it will scale with the bosses

you can use any other talisman you find useful bro, lord of blood's exultation is a good option.

i copied the same build just around level 150, but when i use the moonveil heavy attack ability it doesnt make the boss fall to there knees like how yours did after 3 attacks??? why is that

I think some bosses have less chance to get it by the stance damage

Intelligence should definitely be higher than dex for this weapon

Not really bro, for skills and ashes of war that features projectiles, leveling up dexterity will develop a higher performance over other stats, i don't know why it works like that. But you can make your own tests bro. In this case, it's better to prioritize dexterity.

faith is necessary to cast the buffs, which are key to get the same damage i'm dealing, but if you don't care about it then yeah, you can put your points in any other stat you'd like :D

the difference can be significant if you want to have a decent amount of vigor and endurance cause you will not have enough points to invest on dex and int

You have to attack at certain rhythm, if you attack slowly the boss will recover its stance
