These last few pure caster build invasion videos are amazing and have been a nice change of pace.

The double kill at 14:15 was cool the way the dual death sounded

Awesome gameplay as usual. I love seeing shard spiral, didn't know about the combo with comet. Would love to see some magic glintblades as well cause you can kinda layer them with other attacks.

Well thought out mage setup with a great spell order. Very impressive all around.

I'm glad you started doing more invasion videos they're great to watch. Don't get me wrong I love the duels too but these invasion vids are legit nice to watch.

Chase showing that you don't need to be a glass cannon to do chonky damage as a ( *narrows eyes* ) wizard.

Normal mage gets hit then gets roll caught to death but a competent mage is honestly scarier than dual vykes or high arcane occult seppeku dual cross naginatas

It's not like I *ever* thought Cannon of Haima was a bad spell to begin with, but your Mage videos have really shown to me how *amazing* it is lol.

Last week I started a mage playthrough to try out the new patch. Got towards the end of the game, around 60 hours, but then I kept seeing your pyro PvP videos and I'm like alright.. reroll time. Now I'm again towards the end of the game on my Pyro.. and you do this. You monster.

@@1IGG Nah, I made both characters to min/max stats. They'd both have several wasted points. Plus I'm already nearly done with both, so way too late for that. It's okay though, won't have to worry about running out of respecs when I can just swap characters.

Do you find the Graven Mass Talisman effective? I kinda feel like it doesn't do anything noticeable.

Loretta's Mastery is also an interesting sorcery for invasions. Has great range and damage, and can make insane curves if you face away from the enemy. Not that great for 1v1 situations because of the charge time and cast speed, but good for confusing multiple opponents by quickly switching your lock-on

At 15:08, Carian Slicer does a whopping 925 damage! That should be illegal!

The piercer have similar starting animation to the canon but totally different timing. People usually get surprised at least once.😂

Cannon of Haima is the best ever. But if you like artillery, you need to try backturn Loretta's Mastery for the off-screen homing missiles

I've been trying to make an Aberrant Arcane Spellblade, using Thorn magic, and just enough faith to cast most of the Giantflame spells to go with it. Use the albinauric staff for the arcane scaling along with the Dragon Communion staff. Trying to make the Thorn spells work is hard, but it looks so damn cool that it is worth it. Been trying to think of ways to refine it. I went with arcane because I do enjoy using stuff like the Bloody Helix. It's medium roll low poise fashion-centric build.

What is the chest piece you have on for this build called ?

Something very fun to do as a mage, is to use magic glintblade 3 times, then charge up collapsing stars.

Imagine you finally get invaded by chase and get to fight him and it's pure sorceror day. I would uninstall.

wow, fast pebble is amazing, especially when people are caught up in their ash animations.

Could add gravity stone fans to it to give you a nice, difficult to dodge AOE that can be combod with the melee spells, a shard spiral cast beforehand, or regal scepter's spinning weapon, excellent for aggressive ganks, smaller rooms, hallways.

What's the silver armor are you wearing? Looks nice

Chase you can jump with the swift GlintStone it's a faster cast and it stops the estus before they chug

So I run a purr "cleric" build its holy weapons w faith spells. the main ones are catch flame, bestial sling, flame of frenzy, frenzied burst, and giants flame take thee. The play is dual swords. Go with the lordsworns straight sword, with sacred order(aow) in the left hand. Then the coded sword in your main hand. The damage is actually kinda nuts. You can swap away from swords to dw seals as well

Can you feel it, Chase? The superiority, flowing through your veins... embrace the Gigadamage no health meta! Vitality is for scrubs who stumble through boss encounters slurping orange juice instead of perfectly memorizing the bosses moveset and drinking the finest gatorade flavor: BLUE!

Very impressive! I've only tried PvP as part of Varre's questline, that's no easy task.

the dude that finally beat me in arena was spamming sleep weapons on me, and once I was asleep, he'd spam the carian slicer on me, and usually get me down to like 10hp

Does the Carian glintstone staff do more damage with the slicer than the regal scepter?

No, that is why you have the glintstone on the offhand. Same goes for staff of loss for the night sorceries and the meteorite staff for gravity sorceries always in the offhand.

Have you tried a build utilizing raptors of the mist yet? I think you’d have a lot of fun with it

Why the carian Glintstone staff instead of the Carian Regal scepter? The latter is better in every way with 80 int? Is it just for boosting sword sorceries when you cast with Lusat, because casting with it directly would still be inferior than casting directly with the Regal Scepter, regardless of the 15 percent sword sorcery dmg increase. I’m guessing it’s the former. 2:46 Oh. :/ I should really stop doubting Chase.

If you keep Lusat's Staff in the off had, I'm guessing you still get the buff? But do you still get the increased FP usage de-buff?

No actually you do not get the buff. Because for Lusats the extra damage is baked in its scalling rating, it is not an ability like the other stuffs. You always get the negatives, same with Azur's. Although Azur's does work as an offhand.
