He's a MFer, but after dying again and again before passing him, the best thing I can say (at least as a strength build) is stick close to him and settle for the odd R1 or R2 attack when you're not rolling for your life 😂

block and riposte combined with dodging staggers him pretty quick. I'm not sure how to beat him hitless though - he's an angry tornado :D

Hey bro, There is a talisman that heals upon defeating enemies and you’re using a Great Runes that does the same: what is the difference and why is one better than the other? Also, if you use both the talisman and great rune, do they stack on the HP you get from defeating enemies?

I have a 14900k in my pc. I find that it runs at 5.8 ghz out of the box. All games run fine. But with newer games if I overclock any or if I undervolt at all then games won't load. It'll ctd on me.

They are pretty much only useful for sniping and pulling enemies in my experience. You're not gonna kill a boss with a bow. They just don't do enough damage for that.

@@tchula8265 I've killed tons of bosses using bow only. I'm not sure what you mean. They do very good damage. Especially when you start adding in status effects.

@@thewickedtim Really? You killed Malenia with a bow? I'd love to see a clip of that. Putting Rot on a bow to apply a status effect, then using melee damage to whittle a boss down faster isn't my definition of "killing a boss with a bow."

@@tchula8265 I'm not a content creator so I don't record myself playing the game all the time. Also, I'm not just hitting them with status effects and then hitting them with a sword. You need to relax on your assumptions. Could it be that just because you can't do something doesn't mean others can't as well? There is a content creator called GinoMachino who killed every single boss in the game, including Malenia, using only bows. You can watch that video if you think it's so impossible. He released it 6 months ago and it's a very good watch. He does all kinds of challenge videos that show there aren't really bad weapons in the game just bad mentalities.

But my point still stands that something that is only doable for 0.02% of people playing the game is not truly a valid build for most players, and Fromsoft has done this by design. A game that is designed to use bow builds consistently is designed that way: see Horizon Zero Dawn). If you like doing it that way, have at it. But most people won't bother, because there are much easier and faster ways to kill the bosses than bows. Cheers!

He did some prep before this and he got a whole lot of the upgrade mats. He said in this part he's probably going to have to slow down up upgrading things to max level because he's starting to run low on the basic upgrade mats.
