The Miquella being St Trina theories might have some backing. Purple is the complimentary colour to yellow/gold. Miquella/Marika is all about gold. St Trina is associated with purple mist, for sleep. They wouldn't show "even his fate" imagery without a reason. Might be a hint!

Great stuff! As for some great story parts of the game, I would recommend Vaatividyas "Frenzied Flame" Video. I saw you react to another one of his videos, but I think the frenzied flame one is the most impactful and emotional one.

I still say that Mesmer is somehow related to Rykard and Lady Tanith. The snake motif for one; the fact that Tanith literally wants to eat Rykard's snake flesh after you defeat him; and even if you prevent her from doing that, the snake flesh stays there, wriggling in the arena... which makes it unique. Som's up with this guy....

A month away for the dlc, it’s going to be wild playing it alongside my sister and seeing you play it!! I’m so excited!!! Great analysis as always (I do think the person in the beginning was Marika, maybe she had red hair originally before becoming the vassal of the greater will?)!!!

Whoa, you gave me a wild idea regarding the cocoon being a snake egg instead. I wonder if Mohg brought Miquella there at Miquella’s orders, rather than stealing him like originally thought? So that he could go to the Shadow via the egg.

You make great points. Mohg sats "Dearest Miquella, you'll have to bide alone awhile" which to me tells me that Miquella isnt in the egg itself but trapped in the shadow realm itself. Cant wait for your 2nd playthrough though

1. So glad your coming back to this game. Watching your 1st playthrough is actually why i gave the game a try thinking it was gonna be just to hard. So i would watch your uploads and play Elden Ring. @@itsjavachip well as i have now done both new game+ and another fresh playthrough. It definitely was nice and alot more "user friendly" on new game+ since had the equipment and the bell bearings. But there is alot more incentive with fresh starts... And yea we came we laughed we cried and then we conquered. Lol 💪

Fromsoft was cooking and they delivered us an amazing steak. lol I've been getting some Berserk vibes in this trailer. Even got the band of hawks representing. xD I wonder if Miquella is meant to be Elden RIng's Griffith.

What worries me is that the Bloodborne DLC was a marked step-change in difficulty. I hope this one won’t be similarly difficult.

I’d say it’s safe to watch, no major spoilers if you don’t have context from watching lore videos. You’ll need to defeat two bosses in particular if you want to play the DLC though

The girl in the fire has a god-skin peeler it looks like. May be the gloam eyed queen. The affair couldve been Maika changing into Radagon to seduce the gloam eyed queen and then Marika stole the baby's essence to create the golden order. Mesmer is not a god anymore and was the baby starting a war to get to the lands between.

I think it's possible the figure in the beginning is Godwyn and maybe he seduced The Gloam Eyed Queen and then killed her. The sky behind the weird bodymass is gloam purple. Also this could be motive for Marika to want to kill Godwyn.

What- The figure in the beginning is probably Marika. She’s creating the Golden Order. Godwyn shouldn’t even be born yet. And Maliketh killed the Gloam Eyed Queen lol

@@abdieljove2011 Well, I don't think it's Marika just because the body is masculine while the hair is still golden blonde. Marika only loses her feminine features when her hair turns Radagon red.

My theory on the setting is that this takes place between the Tarnished's time in Farum Azula and their subsequent return to a ruined Leyndell. Leyndell was mostly destroyed and covered in ashes, so this could be what happened during that time.

Never trust FromSoft marketing. Miyazaki is a prankster pretending to be a game designer. He stated that Elden Ring would be 30 hours before launch. We all know how that went.
