All you gotta' do to summon Igon for the Bayle fight is to go to the Pillar Path Waypoint grace (if you haven't already) and he'll be nearby screaming in agony. Talk to him, exhaust his dialogue, and move on. Then, when at Jagged Peak, you'll find two drakes fighting. One will have a boss healthbar and the other won't. Let them fight until one dies, then finish the other off. Igon will appear and offer you his summon for when you fight Bayle. His sign will be inside the boss arena.

I'd say Midra was probably my second favorite rememberance boss. His whole design is dope, I can't wait for the lore to drop on him. Also I just beat the final boss last night, no summons. Holy shit, Jev is gonna have the time of his life.

After beating midra and messmar I think this is the best dlc ever made by fromsoftware. Sure starting was rough but it’s 10/10. I think in some aspect it’s better than base game.

The way the shadow keep connects to multiple different areas and has multiple entrances is amazing, one of the best dungeons From has ever designed.

For the summon on bayle you have to complete the full quest for igon. to complete it you basically just go thru the area for bayle and talk to igon throughout the area

There’s a quest line for another remembrance boss in the blue mansion before the church of district grace of shadow keep. It’s related to the fingers and the boss is basically the mother of the hands

If you ever consider creating a madness inspired build, one of those enemies that insta kill you in the woods has a talisman that can greatly help with it. To be able to kill them, you have to parry them first so that they become vulnerable. Afterwards, they are susceptible to damage and they don't respawn again once you kill them. The timing of the parry can be janky, but hitting the parry as soon as the wand is around their chest area usually works. Use a buckler or a parrying dagger if parrying is not something you're that good at.

(Please like this comment so it gets to the top) The person you need to summon is close to the pillar path waypoint site of grace, South east, down the road from the castle front site of grace. You’ll meet someone on the ground. Exhaust his dialogue and continue ahead, and you should get invaded. Kill the invader then proceed to the dungeon behind him, at the end of the road. Go through the dungeon, and beat the boss at the end. In the arena there will be a door you need to open and go through with a grace behind it. Continue ahead until you see a sleeping dragon in the middle of a lake. There will be two paths that lead from the first dragon. If you head right from the dragon, you’ll encounter a dragon priestess and an altar of dragon communion. She will give you some lore about bayle and placidusax. If you head left from the first dragon and follow the path, you will eventually reach the foot of the jagged peak site of grace. Continue ahead and you will encounter another dragon fighting with a another weakened dragon. You need to kill the dragon with the boss health bar. After that the npc you need will be on the ground again close by and he will start talking. Find him, talk to him and he will give you a finger which you need to summon for bayle. Then continue up jagged peak until you reach the boss arena. The summon sign will be inside the boss area to the left. Good luck.

U can parry that oneshot attack from those walking madness lanters one of them even drops a talisman. You have to parry once the torch is at the highest point. After that you can attack them.

I just realised that the Midra fight has the leitmotif from the music playing when you are jumping down past all the merchant skeletons to get to the three fingers.

the soundtrack is so eerie and godly in that boss fight.

You can parry the Lanterns grab and crit it for a talisman btw and yes Scadu is old english for Shadow

Probably 3 more you need if the final boss has one if you want, the finger boss in a quest line has a remembrance unless bale don't I don't remember

1. Go to a cross where blue petals bloom and head to shore. 2. Seek left for a very big whistle embedded between fingers. 3. Further down from a smaller tree you shall find the second whistle. Once you’ve done these steps exhaust the dialogue of both a man on a throne and a sharp tongued lady and then rest. Only then shall remembrance appear. Doubt that you’ll read this but, who knows, you might find this as a useful and somewhat “fun” way to find the boss without it being to obvious 😅

If you want something else to boost your damage then there is the shard of Alexander from the base game that will boost skills by 15% which will boost the lions claw attack. It is from the jar character

He gives you a key that you can take to the finger places and after the second one go back to his chair at the church. This should lead you to the next boss.

@FaZeJev there is a crystal tear called “crimson bubble tear” that will restore your hp to half when at low hp it’s dropped by and erdtree avatar at the mountain tops of the giants. It’s pretty clutch as it last for a long time and can often bypass a insta kill

Fun fact: Scadu is 'Shadow' in old English. So, they're pronounced as Shadow Tree Fragments.

on the way to Bayle you will see him screaming talk to him and then start heading towards bail and when you reach the mountain you will see 2 dragoons fighting kill both and he will be there talk to him and his summon will be at Bayle but to summon him you have to go in the boss fight and it will be right there

if you press the heavy attack button twice when doing a jumping heavy, another heavy will be buffered on landing. its pretty annoying but once you know the issue it can be worked around. i dont think this was an issue prior to the dlc patch

I would suggest you do the summon quest for that boss in your second playthrough. Its an amazing boss and not worth ruining your first kill with a summon just because the va is a meme

Jev, with colossal weapons people often neglect their physical damage negation when blocking. If you have enough stamina and are preparing to roll an enemies attack you should hold block and still go for the roll. If you dodge too late then at least you take a portion of the damage from blocking the attack :D
