The story is more linear. Like any fromsfot, always help the npcs if they ask, don’t kill then unless they ago to you first.

Exactly thats what made me Explore kniwing it Will be one tough of a fight if i dont been stuck on the first boss for 3 hours and second one already 4 or more (not using Summons to) and i love it its rally hard but makes me wanna "git gud "

His weapon is one of my favorites from the DLC too. Literally the first time I killed him he dropped the bloodcurse cirque weapon.

The DLC kicked my ass 😅 I went straight to Belurat, not knowing what was waiting for me there. I usually go in blind but I might consider following your progression guide. I'll try again tomorrow and then I'll make a decision. Thanks for all the guides

I started the game on June 7th and just beat it today. Took me 13 days and 80 hours of gameplay. I am ready

This feels like it’s going to be as deep, if not deeper than the secrets in the base game. I just played about 30 mins of it and am hooked again. I had a 262 blood build I took into the DLC and it feels ok. I’m sure I’ll need to change up soon. Can’t wait to try these new weapons

​@@kratos97261it's lame so far. I respect my health lower to 55 and an getting rect. I haven't played Elden Ring in a while. Bloodborne, demon souls etc. Just one shot by everyone. I'm old and not quick to judge., but feels like it's gonna be a big gimmick. Already feel like the map sucks.

Still some time until launch here but i apreciatte the early guidance fextra, i was hoping to learn how to get the new katana and this is already here thanks!!

so far i’ve done the bosses in the order: weird jumping dragon dancer lion guy (forgot name), renalla knight lady, and then the scudotree avatar and i have tier 3 of the fragments, am i doing the bosses in intended order or did i skip something?

Should I take my 54Str/45Fth character, or 80int character? I just want to know which one is more likely to be able to USE as much new stuff?

Can heartily recommend the Backhand Blade build. Hyper aggressive play style with fantastic capability on that BlindSpot skill.

I'm still using your Lightning Dragoon guide with the Bolt of Gransax and having a great time =) I really like how spears play and hope there are some in the DLC =) just beat the Dancing lion 1st boss.

I've gone to the shadow realm with level 105 and +22 or 23 greatsword. In the base game have just reached the Fire Giant boss, so couldn't upgrade the weapon further. But it's my second playthrough, so first dlc area feels fine for now.

I couldnt believe that the scadutree blessings were permanent so ive just been hoarding them refusing to use them lol. Activating them should make things a bit easier 😅

How about resistances enemies and bosses? I play on faith build with art flame and giant hunt. Fire dmg is good on this dlc?

Another great video, I’ve been trying to find a guide without (major) spoilers as I haven’t got the DLC and this is it. It sounds like all enemies hit hard and can 2-3 shot players, even at 60 vigor. Is there a way to level up in the DLC to counter this? Or is it just part of Shadow of the Erdtree whatever your level?

Get as many Scadutree fragments as you can and level up at sites of grace. Each level raises your damage dealt AND damage negation.

Use your map. Press R1 to toggle world maps. It says it right there on the map UI

I killed the furnace big guy on the starting area 2 handing a daggers with the use of raptor of the mist on one. Took a while but was pretty ez that way. At some moment it drops down to the ground like the vanilla game giants and then you can 140crit damage it for somewhere around 20k dmg.

Glad I watched this, I found that dragon and somehow must've ran right past the katana

I was looking for your sniper samurai build, kinda interested to see that. Where can i find it?

Can you actually access the Scaduview scadu fragment? It seems like I'd have to complete Castle Ennis first.

I'm loving the dlc, haven't had much of a struggle like lots of people have had so far. My main issue is the map itself, I feel like it's just throwing me all over the place. Base game it didn't really feel like that to me and it's almost an overwhelming feeling. I can't ever make up my mind which way to go. Like at castle ensis, I could go through the castle. Or I could choose to go right or left at the bridge. If I go right I have a choice to continue going right or go down into some pit that leads to a poison swamp mountain cave area that leads to another area or go the other way and come across a tree spirit in a ravine or another way over the waterfall. I keep finding myself advancing one way so far then going back and advancing another way because I am so unsure lol.

If you go with the build with the stone shield and mohg spear you can have a easy life, trust me, 50 str for shield and arcane for the spear to proc bleed. The shield can absorb any dmg without you taking dmg for all the moobs and some boss atks

the dark paladin armor is awesome. is it in the base game or the dlc ?

Did you find a way to get on top of the root plateau near the entrance to Belurat?

Will scadutree fragment carry over for the next playthrough? Or we need to get it from 0 again

On the wiki on the top are tabs. Go to the character tab and you will see PVE and PVP builds. There are some for base game and DLC based builds. Hope it helps
