Every voice actor/actress in the series is top tier. He had the chance to show off with bombastic screams but that is far from the only way to showcase skill in that industry. I'm glad people are noticing the stellar voice acting in these games for once but don't undermine every other performance just because he got to scream the loudest. I mean this in the best possible way

@@imannam of course the other voice actors were also amazing. The thing about this voice actor is that I never expected such motivation and passion from his voice lines. No hate but previous screams from other npcs in last souls games just sounded like regular or just 1 and done screaming but Richard Lintern’s performance just blew me. This is how I imagine someone who is afraid but angry at the same time would react towards fighting them. Screaming with so much hatred and confidence so your hate can overwhelm your fear. It just goes hard.

The knowledge that Midra and Father Gascoigne voiced by the same guy that voices Gilligan is so profoundly funny to me. Two of them are immensely suffering, physically and mentally, and then you have Gilligan giving you a cutscene for a comedically small ladder.

Leda has that sharp female voice that is hiding in a forcibly softer tone that channels her cold ruthlessness so beautifully

I heard after the Lands Between went down the gutter, she relocated to a sewer in Lordran and started selling moss to traveling undead.

Ymirs voice is one of a kind, hope we'll hear more of him

Leda's voice is so beautiful. One of my favorite voices in Elden Ring along with Ranni and Gideon's voices.

They are all top notch but I think Leda is my favorite. The way she is incredibly soft spoken and yet at the same time somehow threatening is very appealing to me.

Same. And Messmer in general, I'm obsessed.

Igon got us hyped for Bayle, but Leda got us hyped for Shadow of the Erdtree. "Miquella the kind spoke of the beginning." The voice acting is cracked across all these characters. Hornsent Grandam btw - underrated voice performance.

All actors did an amazing job. Messmer, Igon, Ymir, Midra my personal favourites

Igon, ansbach, hornesent grandam, and Ymir were my favorites. Everyone was exceptional though I was very immersed and intrigued by everyone’s character

i just realized Queelign is Athelstan from Vikings

YOOOO I was watching shadow and bone on netflix, loved that show due to its fantasy setting and characters. Kaz Brekker was played by Freddy Carter and i would've NEVER expected him to show up as moore. Gets cooler the more you think about it!

He should interview the DLC's cast. I think the NPCs were very colorful. Yes, most of them had like 5 lines, but they're 5 really unforgettable lines. And then there's Radahn having none 😂

The voice actor for Midra really pulled out his spine to be authentic.

Kinda funny how Jack's face is quite similar to Messmer's.

Freddy carter was great in shadow of bone

Freddy Carter is super talented for being able to put that much depth into his first role. A ton of Moore’s context as a character comes from the way he speaks.

Forbes is probably my favorite. I can hear the pain in his voice from Messmers crusade and its effect on him

Really great to see so many folks taking their first steps into video game voice acting. Each and every one of them brought tremendous presence to their performances. With how Shakespearean that the dialogue in SOTE is, one wonders if many of them have backgrounds in theatre.

Hornsent friggin hyped me up while fighting Messmer the first time I summoned him, such a great voice actor!

I really love Jonathan Forbes’ voice. You could hear the spite and vengeful delivery in his lines.

I know Messmer sounds different than the trailer but I really like his voice.

connor byrne did such an amazing job as midra, you can feel his performance so well

theres rightfully been a lot of love for igon but; the fact jack barton looks like messmer is hilarious to me idk, his voice is perfect for his lore. really sadly short but excellent performance. naomi yang delivered some awesome lines in really unique tones but i think ben miles as ansbach is genuinely the best nuanced character in a videogame ive ever heard outside of arthur morgan in RDR 2 matthew gravelle as ymir is beautifully creepy in a way like lord voldemort is, big fan also the DLC knocked it out the park in terms of acting and characters my fave was dryleaf dane though obviously ;)

Midra is my fav besides Igon, The voice during cutscenes where he sound's tired and defeated is just amazing.

Leda's voice is so good. Kinda reminds me of Anri but colder
