I talk to ever npc, end of dialogue. I keep talking until they say the same thing three times in a row. But the ONE TIME I forgot to was the most important time bc I really needed this 💀

I didn't know what wheatblades did and now figured out their are multiple versions which is the reason I got more affinities. 💀💀💀

IF THE NPC NOT THEIR FOLLOW THIS STEPS before you go into the open area and fight the wolf and the guard if you exit the building go to the right side past the few fire shooting guys and go West you will see a small door like 10 meters ahead go their The first thing you see is an item pick it up and you will get it

For anyone who this doesn't work for: Beat Rad, talked to NPC, rested, doors still closed. Went back to talk to NPC again, had to fight misbegotten warrior + crucible knight. NPC now gone. Now the doors are open.

I killed radahn and talked to the old man. Even after he leaves and I sit at the grace, the door still isn’t open. Help!? Edit: so I found what was wrong. I was resting at the grace in redmane castle. You have to leave, rest at a grace, then come back 🤦🏾‍♂️

I'd like to remind people quests co-relate to graces lit and sat at. For example: Rodrika goes straight to Roundtable if you light any graces in Liurnia and disappear from map at the Shack upon resting. Dungeater and D as well Fia's quest jumps if you rest or light a grace at Atlus Plateau, not the grace before at the Dectus Grandlift Melina will take you to the hold if you rest or light a grace in either Liurnia, Caelid or Gurranq's temple OR lose once to Margit.

Visiting the hold before teleporting to the church by Kale can cancel meeting, Ranni, and the twin maidens will only sell the summoning bell and wolf ashes - expensively too.

if you haven't triggered the radahn festival by not going to the altus plateau you can get it before killing radahn

If you break into the castle before Ranni's quest brings you there, the doors are all open and the castle filled with enemies.

@@robertsludock also I’m 70% sure that the festival starts soon as you step into Altus Plateau. I’m on a new character who hasn’t even touched margit yet but since I had to go to Altus plateau to get the nagakiba it started the festival and opened dungeater’s door at the round table

@@jairperry2614 go where you get the ash of war flaming strike and enter the castle that way. Run past or kill enemies in your way until you get to the abductor virgin and make a run for the room with the whetblade. I do this start game for every strenght build I make because the fire affinity gives you more AR early game compared to heavy.

Yeah it is, I managed to figure out how I could finish her quest line without him. So I KZreadr her questline and done her soul and the rest and luckily the two signs were at the moon boss

weird I killed radahn by stake of marika skipping before talking to him, he then basically told me he was gonna peace out so I went to get it and the door was closed, I died and there was a boss where he was and the door was open

Weird unfortunately I’m not sure why your guy’s game is bugged out. I came back way later after I beat the game and already did the mage lady’s questline and killed the guy, but when I came back those doors were open for me.

If you go there with the festival going on the doors will be closed and the castle empty. I’m 99% sure you have to beat Radahn then talk to Jerren to make him move and end the festival so the castle can now be full of ennemies and the doors will be open. You can come and get the whetstone as early as you want as long as you don’t trigger the festival :)

I had the same problem.i fixed it by going to the door Quiting out and when i loaded back in it was open. Hopefully this helps

650 hours. Just got it.

I did everything and my door is still closed

If you missed this and are coming back after the fact, just start at the Chamber Outside the Plaza site of grace.

@@kurrupoppo6937 well some people played the game differently then the way you did which is probably the reason why the door for yours opened and others havent. You probably didnt talk to ranni at church of elleh so the quest didnt start meaning all the doors are open from the start.

It's so dumb that the thing he's weak to is locked behind defeating him

It's not, you can get the whetblade before if you have not started the festival. Using the entrance where the scarab is located with the flaming strike ash of war.

Lmao guys you dont need to kill radahn and do this whole questline to get this, the door to the wetblade is always open, you just spawn on the chamber outside the plaza site of grace and walk to the room

For real fuck this shit. "Oh here, after you've gone through this awful Legacy Dungeon and killed the Boss NOW some doors magically open!" Fuck Redmane Castle, fuck Caelid altogether and hear my Hoarah Lux cry: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH..

when i came back the there was a boss door in the place jerren was supposed to be so i just ran to place where the whetblade was and got it
