I like how the start of that sentence implies his fate should be death, then the later part of it implies his fate is not dying, implying he changed it. Edgiest line, I love it.

When Andrea hit the “What if I don’t wanna walk in your grace anymore?” and the “My lord you’ve left us broken, so shed no grace on me.” It gave me shivers. Her voice is so powerful yet beautiful, it amazingly compliments the structure of the song. I don’t think either parts would work without eachother, the male & female duo with different singing styles gives such amazing contrast that works hand in hand to create a masterpiece.

Ya know what we need? Anyone else remember the AC Rap compilation? THAT with the Souls Borne series. All of those songs together man

This is one of the most badass and stunning choruses you've ever written JT. Hearing Andrea's voice, so angelic yet stark, directly challenging the gods is so goddamn powerful, because she knows that their morals and true power are nothing compared to this old tarnished knight. The shade she throws with "my faith is a fire but the flame hasn't faded before" is such an awesome way to say "You f*cked up," and the confidence of it all feels like you're being told by one of your inner circle that even she thinks you've gone too far. We won't walk in your grace anymore, we don't want your pity. We'll live on without you.

@@punishednerosparda2958 mostly that it runs like shit on any platform despite looking like 2015 game. It looks nowhere near as good as DeS remake and remake doesn't struggle keeping 60 FPS while looking twice as good. Also no lipsync of minor characters and it's kinda Dark Souls 4, just more of the same. It would be nice to have characters, plot, plottwists and character development for a change but nah, still same old same old. Also there's practically nothing borrowed from Bloodborne, their best title yet. Game is just fine, but I had hopped for something better than "fine"

The other fromsoft games are more about survival in a world that's hostile to your existence,but elden ring feels more like reclaiming the land that always belonged to you,the lands between belongs to the tarnished by birth right,we are returning to the lands between to claim what was and always will be ours,taking it back from the false tyrants and pretenders I think this song captures that perfectly...

i've been listening to them for around 7-8 years now, and some of their more recent works kinda lost me, i still love most of their older works, and for them to bring a lot of their old style back with this song, while mixing it with their new confidence and a smoother flow to their writing is really great. The song really ensembles the whole feeling of being put down over and over again because of all the hardships you face and to be able to stand in the presence of the Elden Ring itself
