Elden Ring is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is a collaborative effort between game director Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, and is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 25, 2022.
Elden Ring takes place in the realm of the Lands Between, sometime after the destruction of the titular Elden Ring and the scattering of its shards, the Great Runes. Once graced by the Ring and the Erdtree which symbolizes its presence, the realm is now ruled over by the demigod offspring of Queen Marika the Eternal, each possessing a shard of the Ring that corrupts and taints them with power. As a Tarnished - exiles from the Lands Between who lost the Ring's grace - summoned back after the Shattering, players must traverse the realm to ultimately find all the Great Runes, restore the Elden Ring, and become the Elden Lord.
Elden Ring is an action role-playing game played in a third-person perspective and features elements similar to those found in its predecessors, the Souls series as well as Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, with gameplay focusing on combat and exploration. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki explained that players start with a linear opening but will eventually progress to freely explore the Lands Between, including its six main areas, as well as castles, fortresses, and catacombs scattered throughout the vast open-world map. These main areas are interconnected through a central hub that players can access later in the game's progression - similar to Firelink Shrine from Dark Souls - and will be explorable using the character's mount as the main mode of transport, although a fast travel system will be an available option. Throughout the game, players will encounter non-player characters (NPCs) and enemies alike, including the demigods who rule each main area and will serve as the game's main bosses.
Combat in Elden Ring relies heavily on character-building elements found in previous Soulsborne games, such as calculated, close-ranged melee-based combat with the use of skills, magic abilities, as well as blocking and dodging mechanics. Elden Ring will introduce mounted combat and a stealth system.

Awesome video Brad as always. Just a little tip, it seems like you may have hit your weight limit on armour/weapons because you’re doing what the souls community call a “fat roll”. It’s why you seem to roll a lot slower and not as far, you need to upgrade your carry limit and you should be able to dodge roll a lot easier.

That enemy smashing his head over and over on the ground trying to hit Brad made me laughed so hard 😆. It looked cool and silly at the same time. I was like why isn't he using the weapon in his hand?

Probably the most enjoyable playthrough of Elden Ring I can find on KZread yet. He's having lots of fun, discovering things for the first time, albeit a bit on the too cautious side when it comes to fighting mobs.
Kinda unrelated, but I really like Ranni's voice. Her VA did a great job, and she voices Mio in another game of the year contestant, which should hopefully grant her a prosperous career in the VA industry.

That dedication to pick a fight with 5 giants all together to get that one item in the middle of field is definitely something.....
You can use the same "wind tornado" that moves you up to fall without damage

This game has lot of similarities with Genshin Impact.
I'm 43 and still love playing games. Brad does such a good job on his videos. We play alike Brad, keep up the great videos.

Brad poking the giants and playing duck, duck, goose with them. 😂 Then looking for trouble in other areas is good content to me.
Brad take off one of your weapons so you can fully roll. Right now your fat rolling so your not getting much distance because your heavy. Take off one weapon so your light and can fully roll
Elden Ring is like a cross between Skyrim, and Dark Souls, it seems like.
Such a cool game can't wait for part 3!

Don't have a ps or Xbox or pc but watching this makes me feel like I'm playing with rad
dude you need to exhaust all npcs dialog before leaving, make sure you talk to them multiple times until their dialog starts repeating itself, otherwise you are missing out on quests and story

Lone Wolf Ashes is a really awesome power for the character.I think there's more powerful followers as you progress through the game which is spectacular!
When you are mounted L1 and L2 attacks on your left. This will save you from running past enemies on the right and swinging on the wrong side of your horse.

he played most of the souls, just not good at them.
Wolves are used to pull agro so u can heal and plan your next strike. Super helpful at a low level. Npc love it

You should turn your gestures back on. If you do certain gestures at certain places, at specific times, or for a specific NPC’s you can get access you hidden content like quest, etc
