Afro, Firstly I’d like to say thank you for all these years being the most entertaining souls streamer and content creator out there on KZread. Your outbursts are quite honestly entertaining and relatable. Anybody in their right mind would act the same way towards some of these bosses😅 typical fromsoft Secondly, it was you who got me into the souls and god of war series and I ended up playing all of their games largely based off of the inspiration I developed from you whenever you defeated a boss. No summons, no help, all me. Nothing feels better in a souls game Thirdly, Bayle was the only boss in any game ever where I literally had a seizure because I was so upset I couldn’t beat him (I had prior medical issues that didn’t help any). But the fact is I beat him today, and nothing will be more satisfying in a fromsoft game than beating an iconic and rememberable boss. You motivated me so much throughout your elden ring play through that I beat malenia in 4 hours facing off with her wielding a simple frost infused banished knight greatsword. I don’t know if you read these, but if you did, I’m glad you’re not quitting this dlc because it’s “too hard”. I took it as a challenge, cause over the past 6 years of watching you I’ve established this type of grit you have to complete the obstacle put in front of me. Also just wanted to let you have some further motivation from a fan to destroy the rest of these dlc bosses, cause you inspired me to push past what may seem like an impossible task and complete it, in souls games and in real life👊

Afro, my man, as much as Bayle will do an abysmal amount of damage, you really need to stack up on those scadutree blessings. They serve to bolster your defense and attack more than people would like to admit. Having your blessings at just 10 will boost your stats by 50% so be sure to keep an eye out for them. I went from being nearly one-shotted by Bayle on his stronger attacks to being able to survive more than one, sometimes even taking three of those if I had enough vigor. Other bosses took even longer to kill me than I expected after facing them with more fragments than I had when facing them prior. Stack up on those. You don't have to search up youtube tutorials, but definitely explore a lot more. A little tip I learned was those shadowy enemies, those peasants that just walk around aimlessly, the ones with the shiny jars that try to run away typically carry important items. You might even run into a fragment in one of those jars.

I would also like to add that using the “opaline hardtear” in your flask and consuming boiled crab increases your physical damage negation by a combined 32%. Combine this with the “dragoncrest great shield” talisman and you bring that up to 45%.

Additionally, using golden vow brings that number to 51%.(keep in mind that this was tested without armor. Equipping armor would obviously increase your damage negation even more :)

They reused a janky boss with insane camera issues without fixing those issues or the fact his head is barely ever open for a decent counter, instead they added wave AoEs to every single lightning attack it has for artificial difficulty and called it a day. Oh, and no, it's not just the water. There are dry parts in it's arena and AoEs still spread on them

Yo afro a lil tip: 1. bleed only effects things that CAN bleed so ancient dragons can't bleed bc they have stone skin. 2. you get bleed more often if you have higher arcane 3. you should get more buffs (like flame grant me strength) and switch around your talisman, id say check the elden ring wiki for more info about them PS - GET MORE STUFF FOR YOURE WONDEROUS PHYSICK, you should buff yourself all the time before a boss fight. Theres stuff like +10 strength or +10 dexterity

@@okami9039thats not true at all, most overrated boss is demon of hatred, no insult but demon of hatred had the most unorthodox but basic pattern of all time, first playthrough took me 10 tries, now i can do it with my eyes closed Its interesting that sekiro is regarded as one of the hardest souls but is rhythm based, everything is pretty much parryable and easy to learn, some people are either new to the mechanics and haven’t played anything similar or they get fear haxed and don’t learn anything because people on tiktok/youtube tell them the game is too hard, realistically its a learning game, at first its difficult but after you understand it, its easy Now contrast to souls bosses, they’re not like a rhythm, but more like a memorization game, what attack is it and how should i roll? Can i tank this attack or can I heal when he does this attack, its much harder since unlike sekiro, you wont have a consistent rhythm. I understand how people find demon of hatred hard since its not a tradtional rhythm based boss like the rest of the bosses, but its more that people don’t try to understand him, you have to be under him and don’t try to block his big ass hand which can easily be dodged, plus when he runs away from you he always does a meteor attack in first phase, or the arm swing/meteor dance in second phase, its pretty simple tbh.

I think over time, the newer players that joined in the series, overwhelmed the number of the usual Soulsborne players that mocks people for using summons, magics, etc- and it changed. Plus the voice acting alone for Igon is really good. You'd be missing out if you're not summoning them, and giving them your reaction towards said performance or something. People would want to see him react to the NPC. If they didn't summon them, they might not do the 2nd playthrough in which they did. So we're robbed of that.

Attack the head, summon Igon for Aggro, use Dragonwound Katana, Scarlet rot if you use the dragon arts and then be ready to dodge like crazy. It's a hard fight but he can be beat. Persevere! 💪🏾
