You know what's more broken imo? You use a summon for aggro but dragon breaths. I 1 shotted most of the bosses in this game on my first play through. Once you get Dragon Com Seal x2 it's even more absurd.

Malenia got ptsd from Rivers of Blood and wanted to spam waterfowl at the very end 😂

Amazing video! I truly hope this weapon doesn’t become useless once it’s nerfed like the sword of Night and Flame. They could take out the bleed, but the attack could still deal descent damage.

Yea I hate when from nerfs things into obsolescence, though 1.04 is a nice indicator of them going the route of buffing the crap things instead of nerfing the good things which I like

It was still OP before the arcane patch (with sempuku). It's just broken now, especially when used in conjunction with sempuku. People who say it was bad prepatch can't play katana properly and possibly spam R1 and special attack.

As of now, I doubt it will get nerfed, it has been several months since the game released, if after all that time they didn't think it needed to be nerf, I don't think they will nerf it now.

I beat my first playthrough with morgotts cursed sword cuz I nvr got rivers prior to killing fire giant. Ng+ I rushed for rivers and used it the for everything I skipped and hooooooboy wow

Uhhh that was incredible. One question - why even put points into vigor or carry health pots? LOL! Flawless victory each time. Outstanding. I think the player is more OP than the weapon. My gut tells me that you could have punched your way to victory on each fight.

It’s a cool weapons but really needs to be nerfed, I stopped using it cause it made the game wayyy to easy

2 handing these weapons needs to be removed for max damage potential its dumb and pressing 3 buttons is a pain and sometimes you cast your spells trying to switch over
